I moved to a portrait from a mini project planner and I agree. I actually don’t even fill it out completely because my writing is small. A mini portrait would be perfect!
I like the horizontal standard. I can turn it back so I can see the whole week on one side. Then turn it over for added info. I don’t have to have it totally open which takes up a lot of space.
These are my favorite planners for organization and the most beautiful planners. I want to keep it nice with Frixion pens and sticky notes. My other planners I can let them be messy.
Thank you for showing everything so up close! I’m really bummed the portrait only came in patterns this release and no solid. I also don’t like the anchor lines they added. I’m hoping they do make a mini!🖤🖤🖤
You’re so welcome! What don’t you like about the added lines? Would love to hear how you’re using it! I think these two launches on the Portrait are still in introduction mode, and as they see people love it, they’ll offer more! One solid option would have been nice!
@@thejoyfulsojourn they make it look a little too busy for me. I think it looked cleaner without the lines and more customizable since you’re not anchored into the space within the lines. I’m a lab manager and a part time graduate student! I use it mainly for deadlines on projects I have to manage on my own. I use the empty dot pages more for personal stuff like when I take my pets to the vet. I write down notes they tell me. Since I have senior pets, their conditions are ongoing and it helps me remember the dates and medications they’re on☺️ Will you be doing a plan with me with these? I love those!
@thejoyfulsojourn i also do not like the lines. Way too much for me. I wish there was an option for No lines and No habit trackers. Just a blank page instead of habit trackers would make me happy. Sadly, with the addition of the lines, and that the project planner doesn't come in mini, i probably won't be buying her planners this year.
Wow Elizabeth, you did such an impressive job with the flip-throughs & comparisons. Love the LD planners, I'm still awaiting mine . As an International planner it drives me nuts me sometimes, with the shipping time overseas inspite of spending a fortune on expedited shipping. Can't wait to get mine ...
@thejoyfulsojourn Very helpful. I'm still trying to figure out what planner to use in 2025. I used the classic vertical LD last year. I might just go with that monthly only this year.
I'm considering this planner for 2025 and have thought about that hump as being not fun to deal with but thought I could just flip it since it's spiral coil and have just the one sheet I need to write on perfectly flat on my desk...if you get what I'm putting down?? lol unless the planner isn't as flexible as a normal spiral notebook would be?
They have project inserts in both Standard and Mini size. You can try it out first. It comes in mini.
Love that portrait planner so much but it’s so big 😭😭😭 wish it was a mini size- but it’s so perfect for a family planner -

I’d love to see what a mini would look like too!
I also have this clipboard. I love it.

I would like to have a planner to match this clipboard that I have already bought. It’s beautiful in real life.

It is, but it may not be as flat closer to the spiral
Which one do you use for your health planner, mini or standard?
Mini Horizontal! I have videos up on my channel if you want to see how!
The blocks on the monthly is too small to put any information on. The mini.
Depends on how you write and what you’re using it for ♥️
