New sub! It’s like we share partially the same brain, at least when it comes to ideas. You’re significantly better and more handy at the execution, and I fully can see and appreciate your talent. One example on an earlier video with the SKB case - I have the same one, and had no idea to top came off. That would have made my streaming box build about 300x less frustrating with an equal amount of cut/scrape reduction on my hands too. Thanks for making all of this great content.
Hey man, just wanted to say thank you thank you thank you x1000 for your guidance on getting the flight case customized for the DDJ SRT1000. Two events in two weekends, and setup has never been faster. I appreciate this video, because I know my cabling is pretty messy in there right now.
Very nice on the work. More DJs need to do this. I love the labels for the connections. We talk about this stuff on the DJ Round Table Show. Have you seen an episode?
Hey! Great video! I am just starting my DJ journey and I’ve been looking for a very simplistic but efficient set up. I really like yours and as a matter of fact, I ordered a custom panel like the one you did for my DDJ 1000SRT from your other video. A question I had is, I see other DJs use a power strip instead of that power conditioner you have. Do you recommend one over the other? Under my controller I figure I’d like to have plugs for my laptop, the controller, my wireless mic, maybe an effects light device in the future, and ports for charging. Also, are you aware of power con connectors that come connected to a power strip or conditioner? Or that’s something that has to be custom made? Appreciate the guidance!
Power conditioners are always going to be a better option than standard, cheap power strips. So if you have room in your rack, definitely go that route. ProX has a power strip that has Powercon connections. Do a Google search for it.
you could have just left the original cable and plug attached to the power strip and just coil it up in the rear of the case. That way you're not storing the lead elsewhere which you might forget.
Not sure which original cable you are talking about. Everything needed is in the case. Should I need to use RCA outs, that cable is with other miscellaneous cables that is always with me.

Ha! Lift that thing out and clean it up! I had been putting this off for so long and glad I finally got in there.
Thanks for watching!

Are you as concerned about internal cable management as I am!!??
Whats the name of that yellow tester?
Nice job! ❤️💯
Thank you! 😊
Awesome video man! I did something very similar with my prime 2 case and love it!
Cool, thanks for checking it out.
How do I know if I need a POWER conditioner? THD seems low and I don't seem to have any issues....
GREAT content and explanation! THX
