How to install ZBrush Brushes

- In this short ZBrush tip I show how to install external brushes. As examples I use the Orb Brush pack by Michael Vicente from Blizzard.

cant install the brushes, followed all steps correctly but upon trying to open them i get the error "files can only be opened with a zbrush core " something like that, i have zbrush core and the files are the correct extension

Works great, the only problem I am having is that the brushes do not have a preview of them in the Brush menu, so I have to select it and use it in order to see what it looks like on the Mesh... Why is that?

Why is it happening that after installing the brushes, and selecting them from the Brushes menu under Lightbox, they do not load the alphas for the brushes. Zbrush just leaves whichever alpha was in use.

How come when I open up imported brushes, none of them have any alphas?? its just no texture
It was not free. I got one .rar doc in the file zip and no brushes.
It IS free, I just downloaded it again for free, and it contains all the brushes. Dont know what you downloaded, but must be something wrong. This is the link and it is like I said: gumroad.com/l/nOkHw

I've tried downloading it on both my laptop windows 8 and desktop windows 10. The results are the same. I originally had to put in some money, it wouldn't accept $0.00
I sent a report on paypal and now waiting for a response.

I just got Custom User Interface from Shane Olson, How do I put in the folder, I don't know which folder is.
I'm so confused... when downloading the brush package from gumroad it only saves the data in .rar from why not as a .zpb file? I need these brushes sooo much

This was very helpful. I must say having the files in a RAR does hinder it a little. Have you thought of putting them in a ZIP folder instead? Regardless thank you for this tutorial and the brushes. :D They are quite good.

You can unzip it as a zip file. I have the tool 7-zip to unzip, it's free
