No it's not. Especially right now. The sequels were objectively damaging to star wars, and disney's handling of the IP has been extremely negligent and disrespectful. You can argue that the fans are nitpicking and unfairly scrutinizing new projects out of prejudicial disdain while also recognizing the *FACT* that disney has given them reason to do so by doing a poor job, and degrading them for having legitimate criticisms...
Similar things occurred with Ahsoka and Cad Bane. Practicality has to be considered for the actors behind the makeup. While not completely accurate, it serves its purpose as a live action translation. Though with grand inquisitor we’ve seen his species in Revenge of the Sith, maybe they were CGI, but those designs looked more true to his inhuman design than the human one we see in Kenobi. Still I won’t hold it over them if they don’t want to spend hours in makeup.
Considering how great the Mando-verse has been doing at translating these animated characters to live action, its surprising how off the Inquisitors look. Doesn't make me any less hyped though, and its not going to take away from the story. Still excited to see what the Grand Inquisitor will be up to in this series!
To be honest. Some of these so called fans are always up in arms about something because they make money on Drama Headlines. What a sad way to make money. people should take some lessons from Lebowski. "I'm the dude! Or call me duder or Duderino" :)
For me it just doesn't bother me because there are already precedents for the Grand Inquisitor looking the way he does in Kenobi. The comics since his appearance in Rebels have depicted him with a human-like head shape, sure maybe touch up a bit the eyes and texture for the show but otherwise, meh no big deal.
I could care what a character looked like in a cartoon that was clearly for young teens. I’m a casual viewer now and I will watch and see if I like it or not

Honestly, his look doesn't bother me. In the comics he has a more round human like head shape so obviously this stuff is up for interpretation. I agree with you though. People should have a more nuanced perspective. All the division is unnecessary.

I'm not gonna let a tweak to his head shape spoil what's probably gonna be an awesome series. It's not worth getting upset over IMO but I understand your reason's for not liking it.
I initially *really* disliked the design, now I'm somewhat indifferent... Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Is it the worst thing I've ever seen? Absolutely not... It's still pretty bad, but it's kinda grown on me.

Disney messed up the design big time. It’s ok though. It has nothing to do with the story, so the show can still be good regardless.
