Love this kind of Hack, you inspired me to mod the Syma X5c. Great Work Brother!

Thank you Steve! The E58 feels in many ways similar to the X5c, but also in many ways improved.

Hi Benedikt! I may need to try this mod. Your short demo footage was very beautiful. Thank you for your research and thanks for this excellent video. Happy flying :)

Could you recommend any esp-32-based small flight controller instead of the Alienflight Classic narrow? Wow, one can use now OpenCV with it.

Really nice vid and mods! How do you bind the e58 with your transmitter? I'm trying to bind it to my tx16s but don't know wich rf mode to select

    hello, great hack :)
since you know electronics I have one question
I have eachine e58 drone without controller, i use my phone and it is noooot good!!!
I bought e88 model which has controller, it says it is 2.4 ghz and I thought maybe I could use it on e58 drone since they use the same one with 2.4ghz, but it does not connect.
Do you have nay thoughts on how to resolve this?
    Thank you

what do we call the green board on your table?

most common term is "cutting mat". Similar but different, you might also like "silicon work mat", "electronic repair mat" or "soldering mat".

Just found this video. I was thinking about stripping my naza quad down and replacing the internals of a mavic clone with my Naza M V2 and ESC's. Might be a good little way of getting a nice Mavic setup.

Thank you for this excellent review. I have this drone and enjoy it. I was wondering how I can enable the video but still use the remote control that came with the drone, not the phone controls.
I can get the video working with the app but cannot get the remote to work after that. It seems that the app blocks the remote signal. Is there a way that I can overcome this? Cheers!

How bad is the original Eachine FC? Would it not be easier to use a multiprotocol module with the Taranis?

    • @BenediktHaak
      @BenediktHaak 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Im not aware that the multiprotocol module supports the E58 protocol. I might be wrong.
But even then, I like to adjust flight settings, such as inclination angle, angle strength, and PID values.

Love the upgrade, and the 3m sticky tape is probably the best there is and one of the most important tools in my kit.

Hi, first of all thank you for your videos it's always a pleasure to watch and listen to the jungle!
I am French and I do not speak English at all. I own the Eachine E58 and I wish I could do as you make it cool!
You think I can do it?
    Should there be electronic knowledge?
I followed the link and I hesitate to buy the material I'm afraid of not succeeding!
    What do you think ?
    Thank you in advance !
Ps: I am using the translator! Exscuse me 😳

Yudidd Gaming Gday mate, greetings from Australia!
You need to do some very basic soldering (two simple joints), and you need to adjust a few settings on the flight controller (flight mode and arming) to your preferences. You will need a DSM(x) compatible transmitter.
If you have any questions, you can ask here in the comment section, or in the forum thread I have linked in the video description. English and French is close enough so that you can keep using the translator and we will understand.
AlienWii is used for many years now, many people are using it and willing to help.
Im sure there is a French community out there too but I don’t know where. I don’t speak French ;)

      Benedikt Haak Ok I took a Transmitter Jumper T8SG V.0 Plus and a Eachine EV800D 5.8G Mask.
One last question after I leave you alone what reach do you have with this installation?
Thank you very much for your video there is more than getting to work!

@@YudiddGaming range is just enough to fly around my house. In an open field, you get as far as football field before signal quality degrades significantly.
I think you chose pretty good equipment to get started!

Is there a manipulation to be done? Thank you for your answer
