A tip about spiral rounds or rows and counting. The number of stitches to repeat adds up to what round you are on. Round 5 will have a two stitch increase and 3 regular stitches, (2 + 3 = 5) then repeat. Round 23 will have a two stitch increase and 21 regular stitches 2 + 21 = 23), repeat. Works every time! This helps alot if you forget what round you're on. Count up from the center. If you're on round 7 you'll do a two stich increase with 5 regulars in between. Great hat tutorial! I've never tried the Premier velvet yarn. Looks super soft and squishy! Hugs
I’m so happy and grateful ☺️ finally after looking tons of videos on how to make a hat to go straight down I found yours ❤❤❤ showing the how and why technique
Love this hat. ❤ Couldn't find the yarn on Amazon inside the EU. I did find onHobbii one I think is similar. I did make the other hat from 1920s. I just love hats and both of your channels❤. I'm lycky to have a job where I'm aloud to do art or crochet on work time as long as I take care of costumers and paperwork. I have alot of spare time so this is a good way to use my time at work😂
Nice yarn review in addition to a great tutorial. I have started to use different yarns and am running into trouble as to what kind of yarn to use for different projects. This info is so helpful.
Excellent tutorial. I had to modify the top (5 inches), sides( 1 additional set of 4 stitches,) and brim ( 2 additional rows for length) for a larger head size and thicker hair.
Thank you 😁😁😁 , im so glad you were able to make it work , im glad you shared that so others who need to change the size will know what you came up with 👍👍, thank you
What a pretty hat! You make it so easy for us to do, as usual! That's a great color for you too! Thank you for another great tutorial! I bought a ball of Bernat Velvet yarn just because it was so soft & pretty. Am making a pair of slippers with it and it's a nightmare to use! It's almost impossible to see the stitches to work in and it sheds horribly! Thank you for showing a better alternative!
Hi, I heard you mention the flapper hat and my ears perked up as I love hats from the 20s. Problem is I couldn't find the video, even looked on your Etsy store. Do you have the video or pattern still? Thanks
It’s very very warm and it can totally be washed , the material is safe for all washing temperatures , dry on low heat or just let it air dry, but it’s so warm, my son has actually been wearing the one I made here in the tutorial lol
Check out this cat ear hat next :) th-cam.com/video/DCl2FTI62xA/w-d-xo.html

@@Pammy_Yolo oh indeed !
Please can you write the hat instructions down

Styles always come back! If only I still had my 60's & 70's clothes and purses from then! Girl you're young! 😂❤️ Merry Christmas!
Indeed they do lol

Merry Christmas to you as well 🌲❤️

Thank you so much ❤️ , and yeah, I’m totally about this velvet yarn now, it is vastly better 👍😊
I’m confused on the row repeat for the sides 🤔.
