That's what I've been saying, their work could be picked up by private companies and essentially turn into an Uber type situation, getting mail 365 days a year at any time with charges based on hours and holidays. Canada post can easily be replaced, it's sad that 55,000 staff can't see that. They're easily replaceable, almost everyone can drive and carry a package 😂😂 They actually think their jobs are hard.

They are walking a fine line near the edge of the cliff, and it may come to the point where Canada Post shuts down due to all the heavy losses over the past number of years. The world doesn't owe those prima-donnas anything, and their arrogance in all this is truly shocking. All Canada Post have given me is junk mail or political flyers, none that benefits me at all. I don't care if Rajesh Patel just opened an authentic Italian Pizziaria near my neighborhood, or my local Liberal/NDP/Conservatives parties are up for voting this coming month. If they want to argue paychecks through mail, my paychecks are auto deposited, so there's 1 argument that's been subdued. So pop off Canada Post, welcome to 2024, there are other methods/companies for delivery purposes. Also, this just opens up more opportunities for private mail delivery services to pop up. Canada Post will be irrelevant soon.
