It was a great game, but the problem was that it was an SNES exclusive, compared to Final Fight 1 being released on almost everything. The SNES' quality was obviously much lower than the standard that the Arcade had put out, so it felt like the game was also being held back by that regard.
Nice! I've been looking for single player TAS runs for this game because it would be helpful as learning tools for people who want to speedrun this game. Do you have plans for Haggar and Maki TAS in the near future?

The female enemies are replaced with skinny punks on my version ("censorship")... This is one of the best looking 16bit-brawlers with much content and good gameplay.
Actually, the female knife wielding enemies Mary and Eliza in this version was replaced by two knife wielding male enemies Leon and Roberts in the censored (US) version.
This is the game that i started to use them as competitive esports player in street fighter 4 and 5 and im still waiting to use it in sf6 if maki will be playable default character i guess as for now im still using cody and zeku respectedly solid fans here as Final Fight Player Of The Philippines

Fun Fact: You can max out the in game score if you use the infinite timer cheat from Game Genie and set up the three blockers at the end of the first section of Italy... Was doing some high score runs with Maki, as a proof of concept type deal. Took Forever. It was like a solid 8 hours of just 1-2-3 combo canceling.
This should have been Maki's theme, especially since it also plays during the last boss fight. I believe canonically it was Maki who defeated Retu, just like how Cody was the one who defeated Belgar in Final Fight 1.

スーファミオンリーだったがよくできてたかな。ハガーのスクリューパイルドライバーとか決めるとスカッとした。
ただ殴ってる時の音が前作に比べるとなんかしっくりこなくて、そんなにハマらなかったな
