      I just hope the parents were singing "I ran, I ran so far away...." as they left Iran, otherwise they missed a once in a lifetime opportunity that no amount of money can ever replace and the kids have to live with such shame on their heads forevermore

    Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for.

    • @cocosilkworm
      @cocosilkworm 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when he said the average rent in Toorak was a bit over $900pw, and some Brisbane suburbs are more expensive than that now! I just checked Toorak vs Teneriffe, QLD and Teneriffe has actually overtaken Toorak with the average rental price. The highest asking rental price in Teneriffe right now is $3500pw for a 5 bm 3 bath waterfront house on 477m2... I see the most expensive in Toorak at the moment is $1670pw. (There's one in South Yarra for $3000pw. Doesn't mean there are not others but it's crazy that a Brisbane suburb is asking that much now. You watch everyone give up on QLD and NSW and move back to Melbourne, provided they can deal with any future lockdowns... I will say though that asking prices does not necessarily mean they are going to get that. The prices have reached a ceiling here now I think... Famous last words as more cashed up foreigners invest here... Lol Our property market is serious just a gambling house!

      It's always been that way!you gotta realise there are people who need that big weekly rent to pay their mortgage!some people are left multiple properties that are paid up they're just asking you pay something to live there,they don't even notice if you've paid rent or not

    The brothers are friendly, happy to talk, and unashamed of what they have because they are likely the only people in the neighbourhood (spoken to) who actually WORKED for what they have!! They contribute to society, it's natural and wholesome to be proud of contributing.
    When you contribute zero mental or physical work, but take the majority of the profits the way the "investor/ownership class" do, there is an unavailable level of shame.
    Shame makes us act secretive. The investor neighbours don't want to talk because they feel shame about knowing their money is acquired through taking more than they contribute.

    The Australian housing market/real estate was cooling off and correcting from 2016 right up until 2019 - and then they acted. This is well documented by an Australian TH-cam channel called "Economy Times".
    In March 2020 several taxpayers funded "Housing protection schemes" were enacted, things such as slashing interest rates to almost zero, allowing early access to superannuation, "homebuilder" and other renovators' programs, increased first homebuyers grants in addition to pre-existing investor protections such as negative gearing.
    Since 2022, increasing interest rates are being accounted for and countered by unprecedented amounts of mass immigration in order to prevent any price falls through artificially generated demand and therefore artificial shortages. They do not want the correction that started in 2016 after the end of the mining boom to repeat and they are making sure it doesn't - at our collective burden and cost.
    There would be no issue with this self-serving behaviour if the renting class was not forced to contribute to it. This is discrimination plain and simple, which you need to oppose and resist in any manner appropriate to you. This message is aimed at renters and otherwise homeless, you need to present a united front and resolve this problem by any means necessary.
    Never forget and never forgive March 2020, when they acted against you.

    “Foreign buyers spent an eye-watering $5.3billion on Australian residential properties in just nine months, new figures from the Federal Treasury have shown” as of yesterdays news and these are mostly Chinese buyers.
    Australia is a great place to launder dirty money.

    I dunno how they do it but most of the asians are super duper rich and they are always so secretive about what they do or how they made it there.

      It's not really a secret. Usually money comes from being high ranking government workers, CEOs, in China etc. Then they invest a lot here, often in large proeperty portfolios. Also I'm not even Chinese myself but I don't blame them for being secretive/suspicious of a random guy asking how they made their money. People try to take advantage even if your net worth is small, so I imagine they've had to become extra guarded.
