The flight stand for the Wind Raider also separates and attaches onto the turret mounting point on Castle Grayskull. Altogether, you can have a Roton attacking Castle Grayskull.
Yeah, he missed reviewing a few of the Origins stuff from 2021: “Buzz-Saw” Hordak, Wind Raider, Battlefield Warriors, and Maniacal Mimics (the Faker/Dupli-Cat Power-Con exclusive). He also hasn’t yet reviewed the 40th Anniversary He-Man 4-pack or the Mattel Creations exclusive Space Sumo, but I assume those are coming at some point. There’s also the more recent Masterverse waves and CGI line (which I’ve lost track of myself). Dan’s been extraordinarily busy attending cons to promote his book and also has a family to take care of, so it’s understandable. 🙂
I think this is a great update to the classic vehicle. And I love that it comes with accessories to make it look like the model kit. Another great nostalgic throwback
Happy Birthday Pixel Dan !!! well in 2 hours It will be the 10th, For a few years I've been watching and downloading dozens of your MOTU videos including (1980s Vintage) (New Adventures pf HeMan) (2000X) (Classics) (Filmation Super 7) oh and bought your book that shows every figure in this time frame (Plus Origins) (Masterverse) (and those odd CGI based Power Attack figures) I dont own as much as you but I got a lot figures, sets and vehicles, You really seem to be a genuine lover of MOTU and seem like a nice ordinary guy (Obsessed With MOTU ) LOL ( But is the first time leaving a comment, I often watch figure reviews before purchasing ''online'' So you (and The Man Child) have helped me make better decisions about MOTU figures, Going over all the details, Articulation, Accessories, Minor design flaws, it's great to see the videos, Partially because MATTEL (and others) will release promo images that may not be exactly what's in the final product, Same with eBay. Just recently I found out about ''Classics Horde Prime,'' and your videos convinced me to order it (for 112 US bucks complete, second hand on eBay, I picked it up today actually) Wicked figure !!! MIB or MOC are way to expensive) a couple of months ago I paid 159 US for Mint in box Classics Dark Despot Movie Skeletor (that was the lowest price and some wanted 200 to300 ? Greed ruins collecting ) Most of my Classic are second hand due to higher prices) Anyway just saying thanks for all the videos (And I just noticed it's your birthday March-10th) So thanks, and have good birthday !!!
I got this for Christmas and I love it! I had no plans to get it either as I had the classics one. The origins one is so much better. It’s fun toy, the red plastic canopy and face plate are so 70s/early 80s
I like they did Roton this way. I like the original but this is great. Walmart and BBTS has consistently had this finally. I can get me a second Roton. The great thing about the canopy is Skeletor can go make mayhem in the rain ha ha.

I have two local Walmarts. One got an initial batch in late summer that sold out pretty quickly and then a second huge stock a month later that's still on the shelves. The other store got these in about the same time but put their second batch directly on clearance for $25 (which is how I got mine) and never restocked. That same Walmart also got in some Netflix series Talon Fighters and immediately put them on clearance, too.
Just out of curiosity, why didn't you compare this Roton with the Classics version during comparison time? I am wondering if the flight stand from the classics Roton would fit this version.

There’s some things from MOTU Origins that are still “easily” available to me that I plan on getting soon, and one of them is the Roton. Though it’s a little pricey on Amazon right now (something like 30 USD). Thanks for the review!
It was a made-up original character that hadn't existed previously. The Four Horsemen made a figure in the Classics line to represent him in the Fighting Foe Men 3 pack, Ditztroyer
@@ThatGuy-zj8kg Thanks, I knew I'd seen them from one of Dan's videos before and loved their looks, and thought they were more on the side of heroic warriors with thier colors and the like, but I recall with the history created they were pirates or something - basically an early age 3rd faction i think.

I bought one of these and the friggin faceplate broke when I tried to remove it from the roton, so I had to return it. I got my second one and was really careful with the pegs when putting it on but they're still kinda snug. I'm surprised how easily yours came off

WoW! Mattel distribution in US is really crazy due to exclusivities to stores. I got mine, buying online from Amazon back in september here in Brazil. I love the action feature, but to tell the truth, I am not a big fan of the design/visual of this vehicle in particular.

It's been leaked that Screech will be in a two pack with a Skeletor. Just like how Zoar is with Teela.

Actually the Bashasaurus has been teased on box art throughout the origins line and recently on the card back of the new Roboto. So it could happen!
