Conozco Urumqi (y Xinjiang) y conozco China bastante bien (en persona, noa través de la CNN). Y no tiene NADA que ver con los bulos que inventan los medios occidentales. Concretamente, el trato a las minorías me parece ejemplar; que alguien me diga donde las tratan mejor y respetan (y promueven) más su lengua, su religión y su cultura. ¿en EEUU, en Alemania, en Francia?. Occidente (con EEUU a la cabeza) pretende que defiende a los musulmanes de Xinjiang, al tiempo que masacra musulmanes, a millones, en Somalia, Afganistán, Irak, Libia, Siria,... ¿Pero cómo alguien se puede tragar estas patrañas?.
Lo que no se permite en China es mezclar (o usar) la religión con fines políticos. Algo a lo que muchos aspiramos en nuestros respectivos países y que, obviamente, los grupos jihadistas terroristas (bien apoyados por Occidente) no,comparten.

Some other TH-camr is saying that China is removing Xinjiang ethnic culture by having modern lifestyles there. What kind of nonsense is that. So ethnic groups doesn't deserve to live in modern concrete buildings and technologies? My city's dialect and traditional performance art has been disappearing too, young people doesn't like the traditional famous local food. This is what is called"development", modern people likes modern culture. In huge China, every part has its own culture and tradition. In the world, A lot of culture has disappeared and a lot of new culture has been created to adapt to the time. In the fast paced society people learn the standard Mandarin to communicate with each other faster. In the world, every country learn English, eat fast food and wear jeans. So in this logic, the West is tearing down the whole world?
They should travel using camels not cars, train or plane.
