I know it's not the gnarliest shit but Andy Irons honestly from this video I've noticed this dude had some of the sickest cutbacks I've ever fuckin seen!!! Like he rounds them out so far down the line and then when he's coming back towards the lip on his bottom turn to go up towards the lip he fuckin literally get parallel with the sea and pulls all those g-forces engine BOOOOOM comes up to the lip heavy!!!!! I don't know what it is about people who have a bunch of personal demons and drown themselves and drugs but I just think there's so much cooler individuals then a lot of square ass people and they usually have the heaviest deepest Hearts and Thoughts. And are usually some of the most interesting people in the world and the fact that they have all this depth and interesting qualities is why they used the drugs. It's because the weight of all of their being is too much to deal with. I'm not joking when I say that Kelly Slater is like one of the only f****** guys who never does drugs that I think is just super interesting and cool. They call Kelly Slater the f****** Shaman and I met him twice and served with him at the same brakes on Northshore few times and he just seemed super intense and I'll never forget that one cloudbreak where it was huge and massive and Kelly Slater came in to commentate for a little bit, one of the guys was saying after Kelly left that you can't even look at the guy in his eyes because he said it's like electricity and Kelly's eyes and then he just sees right through you and that it made him feel super uncomfortable. I'll never forget that the announcer said that cuz it was just so trippy because normally they try to act all fake and charismatic but you could tell that Kelly shook him so much of the bone that he had to deviate off the normal course of commentary in order to say how Kelly is made him feel LOL!!

Floaters are gnarly and underrated these days. And how he made vertical reentry turn into a floater then a helicopter or slide. HIC boards looked better for him, but wish he used heavier slightly convexed bottomed boards for certain heavier conditions. Saw a video interview of his quiver and how he like heavier glassed boards for some thick conditions and glassed fins, which was nice. .
