Without a doubt the best DMC playthrough from start to finish I've ever watched both gameplay wise and story reaction wise! Someone told me in the chat of another vtuber that apparently they removed the requirement to get the jackpot ending at some point after release, which would explain why I've seen vtubers who failed to tie or beat Vergil's kill count at the end still get that cutscene. It's weird, because I could've sworn at launch that you had to not lose against Vergil during the credits to get that ending, but now I can't find any reference to it at all through google searches.

Honestly this has been one of my favourite DMC series playthoughs ever. You have both stylish skill and an investment in the stories and characters. I don't think i've seen a first timer actively going for difficult techniques such as Royal Guard, Max Acts and timed Busters, but you went for it every time. Legitimately proud of your growth and i can't wait for the Vergil-through Edit: she tied Vergil at the end too, unbelievable

Fun Vergil fact for Biboo! The book V carried that Vergil gave to Nero at the end of the game is a book of poetry by William Blake that Vergil received as a child. He was so attached to this one book that he wrote his name on the inside of it. He told the person who gave it to him that he did this because his brother Dante had a habit of taking his stuff, and this way Vergil could always claim it was his. A very cute tidbit about Vergil that not only shows his classy side, but also his early connection with Dante, who likely took Vergil's stuff as a way of getting closer to him. Fun Literature fact for everyone as well! Urizen is a being created by William Blake, and is the only demon I believe in DMC5 at the very least to not be an actual demon based on mythology. So yeah, even when separated, Vergil's demon half still was connected through their enjoyment of Blake's work lol.

In DMC4 there's Nero and there are many cool stuffs like new weapons, new moves…etc., DMC4 gets more action-like and has a great backstory setting, and it also showed the personality of Nero really well. DMC5 is absolutely an outstanding action game, everything just SO COOL, crazy weapons moves, banger musics, amazing cutscenes present the character's personality really well …etc., it just SO DANG GOOD!! There is a real significance when Vergil stabbed himself with his weapon and Dante’s weapon. When Vergil did it, he didn’t face his family’s photo as if he was ashamed to where Dante did it he faced his family’s photo. Truly significant.

It's a pretty funny coincidence that the day after Biboo finishes the DMC series, they release the new mobile game lol. I know it's just a mobile game and not the mainline series, but still a funny coincidence.
Thank you so much for the stream Biboo! Congrats on beating the game and essentially beating the Devil May Cry series! (Let's ignore the 2nd game and the reboot.) Just some thoughts now that you beat the game: I'm not sure if you noticed, but when you hit enemies with Dr. Faust (the hat), they would begin to wear hats as well. Hitting these enemies makes them drop more RORBs. It's when you hit them with the hat, not shoot them. That's how you farm red orbs if you want to be a completionist off stream. If you want, you could do the DMC 2 and/or the reboot if you want to. I've heard that the gameplay itself is fine, but the stories are pretty meh. I personally thought the reboot story was interesting, but just hated how they used DMC characters instead of trying their own thing. It's pretty funny because I remember them trying to have the reboot become the MAIN Devil May Cry canon, but the massive backlash had them walk it back to a reimagining/entirely different universe. It didn't help that it felt like they were insulting the OG fans both in the game and in real life as well. I'm gonna be sad that weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee will be gone for now. Having people spoil the plot twists can be very annoying, especially when you specifically ask them not to. From my experience, DMC is just a series that people either have a real fun time spoiling because of memes or because they genuinely don't know that it's a spoiler. You handled it very well and hopefully we won't need it in the future, but who knows.

Someone told me in the chat of another vtuber that apparently they removed the requirement to get the jackpot ending at some point after release, which would explain why I've seen vtubers who failed to tie or beat Vergil's kill count at the end still get that cutscene.
It's weird, because I could've sworn at launch that you had to not lose against Vergil during the credits to get that ending, but now I can't find any reference to it at all through google searches.

About why Donte has black hair in the reboot, there's actually a funny story. The director had a similar if not the same haircut, and people were saying Donte was his self-insert. After all the backlash, he shaved his head bald!
Tameem shaving his head was probably one of the funniest things about that whole fiasco.
That and Capcom halving the reboots expected sales by a million after like a month, and then a few months later that year blaming their total expected income for that fiscal year dropping by over half on "a decline in quality due to excessive outsourcing", lmfao.

Honestly this has been one of my favourite DMC series playthoughs ever. You have both stylish skill and an investment in the stories and characters. I don't think i've seen a first timer actively going for difficult techniques such as Royal Guard, Max Acts and timed Busters, but you went for it every time. Legitimately proud of your growth and i can't wait for the Vergil-through

Fun Vergil fact for Biboo! The book V carried that Vergil gave to Nero at the end of the game is a book of poetry by William Blake that Vergil received as a child. He was so attached to this one book that he wrote his name on the inside of it. He told the person who gave it to him that he did this because his brother Dante had a habit of taking his stuff, and this way Vergil could always claim it was his. A very cute tidbit about Vergil that not only shows his classy side, but also his early connection with Dante, who likely took Vergil's stuff as a way of getting closer to him.
Fun Literature fact for everyone as well! Urizen is a being created by William Blake, and is the only demon I believe in DMC5 at the very least to not be an actual demon based on mythology. So yeah, even when separated, Vergil's demon half still was connected through their enjoyment of Blake's work lol.

In DMC4 there's Nero and there are many cool stuffs like new weapons, new moves…etc.,
DMC4 gets more action-like and has a great backstory setting, and it also showed the personality of Nero really well.
DMC5 is absolutely an outstanding action game, everything just SO COOL, crazy weapons moves,
banger musics, amazing cutscenes present the character's personality really well …etc., it just SO DANG GOOD!!

There is a real significance when Vergil stabbed himself with his weapon and Dante’s weapon. When Vergil did it, he didn’t face his family’s photo as if he was ashamed to where Dante did it he faced his family’s photo. Truly significant.

Just some thoughts now that you beat the game:
I'm not sure if you noticed, but when you hit enemies with Dr. Faust (the hat), they would begin to wear hats as well. Hitting these enemies makes them drop more RORBs. It's when you hit them with the hat, not shoot them. That's how you farm red orbs if you want to be a completionist off stream.
If you want, you could do the DMC 2 and/or the reboot if you want to. I've heard that the gameplay itself is fine, but the stories are pretty meh. I personally thought the reboot story was interesting, but just hated how they used DMC characters instead of trying their own thing. It's pretty funny because I remember them trying to have the reboot become the MAIN Devil May Cry canon, but the massive backlash had them walk it back to a reimagining/entirely different universe. It didn't help that it felt like they were insulting the OG fans both in the game and in real life as well.
I'm gonna be sad that weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee will be gone for now. Having people spoil the plot twists can be very annoying, especially when you specifically ask them not to. From my experience, DMC is just a series that people either have a real fun time spoiling because of memes or because they genuinely don't know that it's a spoiler. You handled it very well and hopefully we won't need it in the future, but who knows.
