How to use NEAT VIDEO in 60 seconds

Let's learn how to use Neat Video to take out the noise from your shots in 60 seconds, in today's tutorial. We will be solely using the 'auto profile' feature in the Neat Video plug in, which takes a sample of the noise you select in your image and uses some voodoo magic to take out that noise. The tutorial is done in Final Cut Pro, however the steps are the same whether you're using Adobe Premiere or Davinci Resolve as well.
I think it's important to note that while the 'auto profile' feature works amazing and the majority of the time I use this option to quickly take out the noise from my footage, Neat Video does provide an alternative in which you can upload different noise sampling profiles to match your camera and different situations. Been using neat video for years and it does a good job, but man the render times are still terrible, even on my 16c/W5700X equipped Mac Pro. Davinci resolve studio does a similarly good job in almost real time on 4K footage.
I edit in FCP X and really wish NV would pick up its game.

Been having trouble with the dust and scratch function. Using old movie footage with a lot of dust and scratches. The Neat software removes the dust and scratch artifacts (but NOT continuous scratches that is something it can not do) while on the preview screen in Vegas Studio 17 Platinum - but after rendering the dust and scratches have not been removed - it reverts to the original imported file quality. very infuriating. Plus to add to the pain a 17 minute film took over 30 hours of render time to find the scratch and dust removal did not work.
