Driving New Jersey To New York City 4K | Night Drive (USA Road Trip)...What I discovered when I drove New Jersey to New York City is that there isn't one perfect route. The most important thing to remember is to pick a route that you will enjoy. My favorite route was the one I took, which took me through the Garden State Parkway, then the Palisades Parkway, then the Taconic State Parkway, then I-684, and finally I-84. I took this route because it was scenic, rather than because it was the fastest way from Point A to Point B. However, I did go through some very interesting parts of New Jersey, and I left the city with some amazing memories.
