Great edit! What a season, so much variety. Love the emotions at the end ❤ I felt similarly after jumping there finally, speechless, overwhelmed, pure joy.
Beautiful, Compton! So inspirational. Loved the ending. Keep it up, stay safe out there. Why are we always looking for more, important question to ask ourselves! :)
incredible stuff, but i really don't get the trend of these backwards and/or heavily distorted perspectives. your pov is the most thrilling and interesting one, i didn't come here to see a helmet :D
You know what, I actually totally agree with you! I prefer to watch POV, and resisted getting a 360 camera for a long time. People have short attention spans, though, and it's a bit more engaging to see the subject. I do make an effort in my editing to keep the view free of distortion, just utilizing the rear facing view.
thanks for the answer! yeah i always feel a little bad when commenting this, because in the end it's your video and your decision. but on the other hand you guys make the videos for the viewers, so i want to share my opinion ^^ for me personally it's just against the whole idea of extreme sport videos, to have athlete / backwards views, i even feel a little uncomfortable to not see what's coming lol. like sitting backwards in a rally car or something. either way, always good flights and safe travels!
Someone raised you. Loved you. Put an extraordinary about of love, time and resources into you. Why throw it all away for a little thrill in a high risk activity with such a high death rate.
I didn't know her personally, but we suffered similar accidents two years ago and her remarkable recovery was deeply inspirational. The answer to your question is simply "because we can" and the human spirit tolerates no shackles. She was remarkable, and it was the defiant thirst for life that set her apart from the most other people. Some don't even understand why someone would skydive (let alone Wingsuit BASE), and pass judgement without trying it. We break ourselves and go back up for a reason. Blue skies Katelyn.
Why tell someone how to live? We all die one day. Katelyn lived her life, her way. I’ve known her for 20 years and I’m gutted that she is gone but what she accomplished in life is nothing short of remarkable. RIP Compton, I’m going to miss you
