Fred Dryer was a character with character. Roman Gabriel was tougher than nails.

Fred Dryer is the most underrated actor in Hollywood. He should’ve received a lot of awards he he’s a great actor.

Love the LA Rams. We got Fred Dryer when I was 7. I played D end in youth football, and grew up with Dryer and Youngblood as my book ends. That was an awesome defense. GREAT player, storyteller and overall interesting dude. Fantastic to hear these two Ram stars talking about the 70's.
Great interview, the Rams of the late 60's through 1980 will always be my favorites. I was glad I got to witness Dryer's two safeties against the Pack, both in the 4th quarter. That's a record that will probably stand forever. BTW, Mr. Dryer, is there any chance of you doing any more acting?. I'm an independent director-producer and in the process of releasing my movie and if it can beat the odds and make enough money to make my next dream project I would love to have you in it. Hunter was a great show and you always reminded me of the great Richard Widmark, only much taller. Thanks for the great football memories!.
Mr. Dryer was a True BadAss in the NFL ! And paired with Jack Youngblood were devastating .
