    Just got one of these. 1st problem i had was when i opened it up and put the two extensions on the headband the headband broke instantly at the ribbed teeth. It also just takes 5 minute videos continuously in order. So im gonna download the app and see whats the dealio.

      Sorry you are having trouble. In the review I can only report my experience, but I think it is important for people to see stories like this so they can factor the risk of stuff like this into their decision. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully you can at least get it recording properly, or return it if not. I'm getting the feeling that the quality is pretty variable with these things.

    The remote is only really practical on the EP6, mainly because the EP6 camera doesn't have actual buttons just touch sensitivity so it's sometimes hard to find where to start recording

      Outside of that, it could work. Mine was okay at close distances like that, but not great.

      It wouldn't focus close enough for clear video of this. It's tough to say for sure what would be best. Something like a GoPro on a head mount would likely be too large and cumbersome, but it would provide far better video. You'd probably want something a bit more dedicated specifically for this. Not sure what that would be though.

    Battery life is my #1 concern or hold back from buying it as most body cams can get 8hours of continuous recording.. I can't imagine this coming close

    • @puchibamba4801
      @puchibamba4801 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed your correct concerning body cameras, this is very important to me as well being able to set a camera up and forget it because one don’t need to worry about or fiddle around with camera settings or worry about draining batteries. With Body cameras one can just let the camera do the work and gather evidence or footage just as it happens. In my case that is what I prefer, however when wanting to record family footage or vacation footage or anything interesting in nature other cameras would be more ideal. So that’s what action cameras or regular video cameras are made for they are for memories or home videos or similar things. Just in the same way a dash camera is to record traffic instead other kinds of footage. In my case my mini 8 hour body camera is for a specific purpose but when I want to record memories and want to archive them It’s better to use another camera that usually has better resolution but batteries last a shorter amount of time. I definitely wouldn’t want to wear a body camera for family or action videos. But when I’m walking
      or driving in public I would run a body camera that has lots of stamina because like I mentioned I need a camera that won’t fail when needed to be continuously recording. But for other kinds of footage I use something more traditional with less battery life. I wish they had a hybrid that could do both and had a long life and a small profile that I don’t need to act like a camera man but there is always a trade off. I have a drift camera that has a nine hour battery but don’t use it to preserve family moments I use it in traffic just in case.

Just something fun that I'm making with the help of some family (they are my "actors"). Unfortunately, that has been delayed due to covid, among other things.
      In addition to that I've just been super busy with work and stuff the last couple months, so it has been tough to devote much time to videos. I still have a lot of videos planned and I'll keep working on them as I get time. I apologize for the slow release of videos. But I'm still working on stuff when I can. Hopefully things will settle down soon and I'll be able to pick up the pace of videos. Fingers crossed.

    I have got this camera and extremely disappointed with , Iam a surgeon and I wanted to get up close phottage of surgical field,it has magnification feature work through the app connected by WIFI , the camera connection to WIFI can be unreliable and this is a big disadvantage, secondly it does not have auto focus and the image can be out of focus frequently, I do not know how to open the camera to adjust the focus, and you mention the problem with stabilization ,it is claimed to be 4k but it is far less resolution than @t ,not to mention its poor performance in low light environment. The battery life is shocking they claim having 1000 mah it should give 2 and half hours of recording but you will be lucky to get an a hour of recordings.is work in progress the idea is good but it is a terrible camera with the current model.

      It's probably just a file system limitation. I don't remember mine doing that, but a lot of cameras do that. Basically, some file systems don't allow more than 4gb file sizes, so the cameras will automatically create multiple clips with like 3.5-3.9gb sizes. You should be able to stitch them together with a video editor and end up with a seamless video. Kind of a pain, but it's not a limitation that is exclusive to this camera.

      The biggest hurdle for me was simply getting over the awkwardness of talking to a camera. I can sit and have a conversation with a stranger, but to sit down and try to talk to nobody is just odd and hard to get used to. But it gets easier over time and while I still feel pretty self-conscious on the rare occasions when I record in public, I don't think anything of talking to a camera or mic any more. I'm still not what I would call a natural though. I script a lot of my videos to prevent rambling and a lot of "uhm" and "uhh" type stuff. And even with a script I screw up sometimes.
