I started doing UberEats bike delivery back in September and while it started well it’s really slowed down. All the trips just have become more stressful. Recently recorded a little video of just a short little delivery/experience. Watching this reminds me, gotta put it up here.

I just need a bicycle, i looked up a video the other day to show how to make a dyi bike rack to place food on also so if i get a one i can place food on it . I reallly think ima try this once i get a bike.and hopefully things will climb up from ther god willing.

A question please : Let’s say you get a pick up delivery from Uber an you are on the way to restaurant for pick up. Then, at the same time you get a pick up from Dash. If you ignore Dash’s delivery, will they penalize you ? Or when you get a pick up from Uber, immediately you turn off the other app ? And aren’t you getting tired bicycling constantly for 8-10 hours every day ? How can you wake up the next day ?
Even if investors decide to not invest in specific gig work apps, I'm sure delivery will still be available with newer apps because of its demand! It's one of those fail safe jobs where a worker is guaranteed work, but on a bike it can put a toll on a person's health if someone overdoes the job.
There's a strategy...even a game. Not at the risk of losing your life. ..but you should start chill and absorb the job and especially your city. Then you can apply recent experience to feelings and intuition respectively.

he might be able to go a little faster with an ebike. But an ebike the battary will die and it becomes alot harder to pedal. An motorcycle sure but that you need a licenses for and also you will have to pay for gas too
@@NYinSD not really thr average normal space I ride at is 20mph. He said that he does like 15mph. Most Ebikes max out at 30mph. Usally under 30mph. And once they die then they super hard and super slow to pedal. So no they wouldn't be able to get more deliveries done espically if u put in the wait time u wait for deliveries and ect. They be about the same. Plus Uber eats if u go over 25mph on a bike it bands your account for going to fast on a bike.
My account has been deactivated from Uber for delay in deliveries. The deliveries were delayed because I was doing Uber on rented cycle in Torronto but now my electric cycle from ncm is coming in next 2-3 days and I want to earn money so is there any way through which I can reactivate my account or is door dash a good option? Dude you multiapping may sound smart and efficient with your time but you’re going to get deactivated because the customer is seeing you not coming to their address cuz you’re dropping off for Uber eats first then they leave a bad rating for not being on time and all that and you’ll establish a bad record for DoorDash and Uber eats
so you take more than one delivery at the same time if they are near each other? in someone elses video I heared he got kicked out of UberEats for taking too long to deliver the food, because he would take more than one delivery at a time using multiple apps and he would consume time in one deliver going to pick up the other delivers food. how have you not gotten kicked off from one app for taking multiple deliveries at the same time?

I know this was a while ago but go for a cheap road bike for around $200. You can get it used or new(certain brands) and it'll pay for itself in a day or two.

I think you need a more secure phone mount and also i wouldn't do stuff with the phone while you are riding. Just a safety observation. Be safe and keep up the grind. Keep your eyes on the view ahead. What city are you in.

What is amazing is that you are videotaping, riding a bike in a busy city (which is very dangerous) and texting on the cellphone. Mad respect but please be careful. (As you mentioned you got hit by a car). If it happens, then get all their insurance information and perhaps you will have it videotaped as to who is at fault. You get so much shit for doordashing tho. Customer likes to think everything is your fault. Just today I was dashing on bike and the damn restaurant over stacked everything into one bag so it was a very heavy single bag and the item at the bottom of course is going to get crushed from gravity so when I arrive at customer I see the mess and customer gets mad at me even though it’s restaurant’s fault for cramming things into one bag. Also with COVID McDonalds puts drinks in the bag too so if the bag falls on one of its sides the drink is going to spill those are my current complaints right now
