I didn't realize it was analog. I have the Serge Res EQ and I've been wondering about the VC controlled one because it's so cool. But honestly, this is way cooler thanks to one of the best displays I've seen on a filter :). BTW, this is also a masterclass channel for me.
Thanks for the video. Very well made. Very musical. EPIC filterbank this is! Love the Serge genes. Using odd and even for stereo left and right is so satisfying. Needless to say but after eyeballing (listening) to the rather few youtube demo's... your video pushed me over the edge 😂 I ordered 2 units. These will become friends instantly with my Sherman Filterbank. 💛
I enjoy the structure of your videos very much. Interesting examples and than the explanation is coming along. Like little cliff hangers. I listened to your music and wish you would release some more tunes. I love the pure style of your techno tracks.
Thank's for the demo! The FB just arrived, can't wait to plug it in my setup. P.S. I wonder what's the story about that black tape over Behringer logo on your PSUs?
For the way I work, the expander is pretty essential - you can adjust the bands using the encoder but I prefer the immediacy of being able to adjust each band with a dedicated knob. It all depends how you're planning to use it, though - it wasn't essential for all the patches in this video, and if you're mostly planning to CV-control the bands then it might not be so vital...

Thanks very much, I appreciate that! Glad you enjoy the videos/music :)
Wow Tom, that's awesome 👌. Thanks for your clear description. Trouble is that I want one now... 😮😊
Haha, you're welcome/I'm sorry :)
Hooray ! As someone who's heavily into modal synthesis, this is a godsend

You've successfully made me want one as well
Really cool Jams, Tom. I wasn't super interested in this thing until...now.
Great video and just my kinda music too.
Wonderful. That tune from 9:35 needs to be released on vinyl! 😁👏
Ha - thanks! I might have to revisit that jam and develop it a bit further :)
@@TomChurchill Instant Banger!
Been looking at this module... clock in is a nice addition to a filter bank. What are those cable ties attached to the module screws?
Nest Tamers! www.signalsounds.com/Gammalite-Systems-Nest-Tamers-Eurorack-patch-cable-clips
Wonderfully sounding module! I love the percussive potential when pinged!
Would you consider the FBEX obligatory?

Super value for money. But I just find it a bit too aggressive sounding. Great demo as usual 👍
How does it compare to ADDAC 603?
I've never used the ADDAC to compare it. They seem like pretty different beasts on paper though.
Reminds me of the Rossum Morpheus
except, a million times more usable ; ) I'm selling my morpheus and picking up one of these.
