George r r martin said somewhere that for the last two season he gave the writters the key points of the story and they only connected it. The book ending will ofcourse have greater impact but from top story will be almost same except last episode 👀

D&D's Star Wars got cancelled long back. It's been almost 2yrs now since that announcement Lucasfilm didn't continue with their story.

I don’t understand why the show writers left so many interesting and big plot lines from the books…. For example….. catelyn stark survives red wedding in the books and joins beric dondarion’s group of rebels…. Daenerys weds a slave owner in meeren ….. and the most important…. In the books…. Aegon targareyan (son of rhaegar and grandson of mad king)… is alive… who lands on westeros in the last book and gather the lords for his plan to recapture the throne, even varys supports him…. (Varys doesn’t go with tyrion to essos in books)…… the show’s last seasons could have been a lot better if these were included in the show imo
Catelyn doesn't survive red wedding, she dies and stays dead for 3 days and then Arya 's wolf find her from the river and beric resurrects her, and she becomes lady stoneheart and lives only to get revenge
