I appreciate the solid information and demonstrations. I am buying the chisel plow and the Kunz cultipacker. I have used a flip disc in the past, but it can take a dozen passes to prep the soil.
I use a two shank chisel plow with my 60 HP Massey. I don't have any trouble but you need the HP when your tearing up ground. 4 or 5 shanks are going to destroy your ATV especially if you don't have a big bore Machine. I would like to see how your ATV is holding up in a couple years! Maybe I will be surprised.
@jeremymmorris where the ground wasn't broken yet it just did fair. I added about 100# and it clogged frequently on sod, leaves, and occasional roots. I had to take the middle chisels off like he said in the video. Where the ground had been broken the previous year it did pretty well. We seeded and drug it, but found it took hold better with a roller than the drag.
I own a tractor and with this piece of equipment I was able to get from plot to plot 3 times as fast. I own every piece of equipment you can imagine and I used this chisel plow on the majority of my plots.
Hey, I'm an organic farmer so I don't use spray to kill off ground before tilling. Would this work ground like where you are doing the talking in the video? Thanks
I bought a house with some acreage that has been ignored for years. Trying to restore the large yard area to level ground so I don't continue to liquify my insides every time I mow it. Right now it is full of bumps, holes, and little valleys. I know a box blade on a 40 hp tractor is probably the best way to accomplish this. However, I only have a Pioneer 700 SXS. Do you think if I got this with the harrow accessory I could use it to level out the yard?
@@KegOpetator The last part of the video shows him using it on virgin ground. I wasn't all that impressed with the job it did, but I think after a few passes it would do a good enough job.
I wasn't all that impressed with how it did on virgin ground. A garden tractor with a moldboard plow would do a better job. However, who is going to drive a garden tractor out to who knows where for a food plot? For your particular application, I can see it doing what you need it to do but that virgin ground would definitely benefit from a few more passes. Thanks for the video!
@@ALL-In-Outdoors is that enough horsepower or is it just about torque since the plots are on level ground? Does a larger motor have an advantage on Ricky soil or increasing efficiency with larger plows?

virgin ground break part was a nice touch. looks like I need to make a plot for this fall deer season.

Why does everyone go so fast? Give the tools chance to work, slooooow down
Sir, you are absolutely right
Just what I’ve been looking for, thank you Jason!

I agree, that will destroy your Quad or side by side
Thank you for introducing this. Not sure, but to me it looks like itś just scratching the surface 50% of the time.
Love it, but serious sticker shock.
Really - which machine was pulling ? I'm considering a Polaris Ranger. OH do you mean the price ? It's no wonder we do DIY and hack isn't it!
Looks good. I'm renting one this weekend to see how it does on some new plots we are putting in this year
How'd it go? Would you purchase one?

Yeah it better be made out of gold and diamonds for 3k. Wish I had the money to throw at it
Do you ever wish you had the same quad but with independent rear suspension?
For $3k you could rent much better equipment.
Not to mention if you're doing that much breaking a small tractor will serve much better

Yeah right I’m buying a bobcat disk

Yes
I wish someone would show these utv implements on virgin ground instead of ground that has already been worked and not compacted
Maybe you should watch the entire video? The second plot is virgin ground
This guy literally granted your wish
@@bengreenwood7387 this guy is tilling existing food plots not virgin ground. Watch the whole video.

He literally said this ground had never been touched before on the last video
Jason, which quad would you personally recommend for just gardening and landscaping?
Honda, by all means
Thanks brother. Trying to talk my buddy into letting me atv the backyard hahahahaha
Great stuff but holy Crap …. Expensive
Hey, what kind of seed spreader do you guys have?
Yeah, Holy Sticker Shock, Batman....
Any dealers in NY or northern PA? Shipping would be expensive
I don't think but I would check with Kunzeng.com

How does it hook up to the atv
Just a pin
It doesnt even really look like its doing that good of a job to me. Looks the same outcome as the 300 dollar ones.
I don't care what quad you got, but man, that's poor thing ain't gonna last.

What size cc is the atv?
Honda Foreman 500

do NOT expect your atv to last long using farming plows .......

Can buy old farm tractor with attments for price
Good luck with that. ;)
Just bought a good running Ford 8n and 8ft disk for $2,200 so it can be done. Works like a champ! Do about 9 acres of food plots
You can, but it would most likely need some kind of work done to it.
Will impact from imperial on an existing clover field?
