Yes! Here's a video I made a while ago how to do that. The latitude and departure are calculated within the bearing angle formula: th-cam.com/video/0YSMwyT_UUk/w-d-xo.html
Probably the easiest way is to use a GIS like Google Earth Pro, QGIS or others. There's also a tool to convert coordinates from the NGS: www.ngs.noaa.gov/NCAT/
@@juneruthchillespasilan7799 Currently, the only way I know how to do it without using commercial software would be to use another GIS or CAD software like QGIS or LibreCAD to draw the traverse and then import it into GE Pro. I'll look into it further though and let you know if I find a nicer way to do it.
Sure, logically the if statement could start with checking for south and applying the southeast and southwest formulas first and north formulas would default to the false.
thanks, already did it for lines and curves (using a radial start bearing), you're way more efficient though, I may borrow to simplify, nice work
This is a super-choice spreadsheet
Thanks!
if the Technical description said its DUE WEST or DUE EAST what is the value of it thanks
N 90° E, or N 90° W
Thank You so much!
Do you have the excel for computing the area without using the DMD
I'm not sure what is meant by DMD, but I think this video may help: th-cam.com/video/6Vt_Otc4854/w-d-xo.html
Sir, where did you get the value 10,000? Thanks
It's just an arbitrary starting point which makes it easier to see how the formula is applied to get the other coordinate pairs.
Sir, is there a way from latitude and departure to bearing and azimuth in excel?

Sir, How to convert latitude and longhitude (in DMS unit) to N and E value?

Heloo Good Day! I just want to ask how to get the D, M, S?? and Whats the meaning of that letter?
The "D" is for Degrees. The "M" is for Minutes and the "S" is for Seconds which numbers were randomly entered for this example.
@@SJCDMAD232 I just want to ask if How to plot a bearing into a google earth pro?? Could it be possible? If I have a bearing of S72 D 58M E????

your using if (for "N"-North) how about south?
Sure, logically the if statement could start with checking for south and applying the southeast and southwest formulas first and north formulas would default to the false.
can you make a video on how to convert Bearing into Azimuth in Excel?
On its way.

thank you :)
Do you have an excel file?
Here's a link to a Google Sheet with the formulas: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1h4rCTsOowY3b9uTcvDwK8NCj_yRx0BrRxjntsChyfRY/edit?usp=sharing
