- This is the second episode of our trip to Portugal and it is all dedicated to our visit to the famous "Feira da Ladra" (literally: the Market of Thieves!) in Lisbon - Portugal.
The MOST FAMOUS FLEA MARKET in PORTUGAL | Shopping at "Feira da Ladra" in Lisbon.
We like to find beautiful items and souvenirs searching in the flea markets and vintage stores all around the world.

Hi great thrift trip! I loved the firefighters jacket. It could be from the seventies because inside there is a label from several cities . One is Luanda the Angola Capital, when Angola was part from the portugues colonial empire. I’m no 100% sure but it couldbe. 🌺

“Azulejos” in Portuguese: the “j” is not like in Spanish: it’s pronounced like “zh.”
Sorry for the bad pronounciation 🙈🙈🙈 I know only a few words of spanish (and zero in portuguese) so I tend to pronounce the portuguese words as if they were spanish! 🤪 Sorry sorry 🙏🙏🙏
@@VintageWeekendsItaly Everyone does that! So no reason to apologize. Spanish is much more widely known and spoken, I believe, than Portuguese.

🙏🙏please don't buy old tiles at flea markets. They are stolen! They are removed from the walls of buildings, damaging the city's heritage. That's why they can be bought so cheaply. You can find replicas in specialized stores. Thanks!🙏
When you say, “these are good brands” how do you know they are real and not fakes?
Well, if you're talking about the trousers, they were good brands but not super expensive brands, so I guess they were real... But the Gucci flipflops seemed fake. Anyway, before purchasing I always check all the labels and the quality, to check if the item is real of fake! 😉
I have my own flea market called MAMA’S FLEA MARKET MY BASEMENT IN MY BRICK RANCH HOME IS STORAGE OMG LOADS OF THINGS I HAVE I GET ANXIETY WHEN I SEE ALL THE PEOPLE WITH ALL THEIR THINGS VERY OVERWHELMING OH MY. I HAVE MANY THINGS DO NOT NEED TO SHOP LOL ANYMORE. I AM HOPING ONE DAY SOON SOMEONE WILL BYUY MY 35 YEAR COLLECTION OF THING SO I AN GET MY HOME BACK. I SELL ON FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE HAVE YARD SALES ALOT OF WORK I WILL BE 70 February 21st not 35 years young it’s very hard to do this anymore. I have wardrobe fit for a queen children and GRANDCHILDREN get presents

The market is called "Feira da Ladra", Feira in portuguese means market, and Ladra means thief... 😋 So literally it is the market of thieves! It was only a joke, of course there are no thieves, I didn't want to be offensive in any way. 🤗
