The 1977 Triumph TR6 has always been my favorite car. I was 16 years old in 1977. Seriously! I have been a British Leyland fan for as long as I can remember.
The dash layout can be very different on early TR6s, like a friends 1970 model. Mostly the same controls, but in different places. In his car, the left hand stalk is off, side lights, then headlamps. The dip/mainbeam is a floor switch, just to the left of the clutch. It also doesn't have a volt-meter, it has an amp-meter. Wiper switches are different too and a number of other details.
Just bought a peach. Test drove it and thought the over drive not working. Was using the light stalk so thanks for this.
yes i always have to remind myself the indicators are on the right!! enjoy the car
I just bought a TR6 and haven’t brought it home yet. 1974 so apparently it has overdrive. Super cool
Overdrive is brilliant 👍
Just learned interior light switch and the odometer reset. Thanks!
Glad it helped!
The 1976 Triumph TR6 has always been my favorite car. I was 16 years old in 1976. .

You're welcome!
very good explanation, but you should have connected the voltage stabilizer. W/o, the instrument shows too high rate…
