Crazy how one day it a normal town to people and it's ecosystem (flora and fauna) and the next day it's just a ghost town
Pryp'yat' is name of the town you are in. Chernobyl is the name of the nuclear power plant that exploded. Those are both in the Ukraine SSR which is part of the USSR.

Seriously, I've been watching for 10 years, I like to think I get to have a right to complain. I don't think his channel is watched by many kids, so I don't know why he is so insistent on those sounds. Drae was always entertaining enough on his own, these sound do nothing but distract from that.
If his editors at very least used some meme sounds instead, but no, it's this last age 90s comedy crap.

that computer terminal you were looking at looks like an old c command line, I know bc I'm a computer science major currently in college and I had to mess with them in my operating systems class... AND I HATED IT.

You're hilarious in your vids. out of all of the creators I watch, you always have me busting a gut. started watching a lot of your older vids and i have to say, i'm glad you don't swear as much. hahahah
The wing-dings, plops, zerps and other sounds are getting to me. The videos are getting harder and harder for me to watch because of them. I really don't want to unsub, but I just can't deal with them. They shock me out of my enjoyment of the video every time.

I love your stuff, but please tell your editor to quit with the unnecessary sound effects. 😫They really don't add anything except for a disruptive distraction to the videos. Limited use of them in the multiplayer videos is much less so, but on the single-player videos it is just annoying and takes away from the humor of your gameplay.
This is a terrible representation of chernobyl and the clean up process 😫

These kinds of games are annoying. Let me explain. First off, they aren't really games as much as they are stories. There is no paths to alternative options, mainly linear quests that lead you through the story. Sure there are side objectives that may result in different endings to the story but they all lead down the same path. This isn't really fun when you are basically forced to follow the course to actually accomplish the objective. There are no varying ways to complete the objectives. Because of this, there really isn't much of a game to play. You simply follow the story as it unfolds and become part of it, rather than having any measure of control to the outcome. There are no skill trainings, class attributes, gear improvements, crafting, etc. It just makes the game, not a game. While the story and subject matter is interesting, it feels hollow and lacking of depth as a game.
Agreed. I've never cared for games that handhold the entire way. Predictable and boring.

@@Lumachie This is why its annoying as a game. It really isn't a game. Its a story. You just get the chance to experience it first hand but it loses it's appeal when you can't change things or approach problems in differing ways. You can't strive to survive when you are meant to die as the story deems it. There becomes this void in the challenge department that gets unfulfilled because all you do is follow the instructions step by step until the story gets told. It just isn't fun as a game.
