One tip: people camp. Titanfall is the only game to give you everything you need to absolutely destroy them without stooping to their level.
My Cloak/Kraber Pilot named Scoot (yes, after the Animal Crossing character) is tailored specifically for styling on filthy Spitfire campers.
camping actually puts you at a disadvantage too, everyone will pretty much be slide hopping or at least grappling/stimming/invisible making it really hard to hit anyone from a stationary point
judgemental tigrex i thought this too. I slingshot basically everywhere I go and sometimes kill cams show them aiming behind me a lot like it’s not even on my body and it counts as a hit. Idk. But it’s ts very frustrating
Facts. If u wanna destroy campers, just move fast and sneak behind them. Campers usually don’t pay attention to what around them.
Map Hack is your friend too. Scorch is great flushing them out too.

I loved it today when I got in a match where the enemy team was all in their titans, and saw nothing but ions and scorches with either a low level weapon camo, or none at all, which filled my heart with so much joy and happiness.
When cooking a frag, always say 1 Mississippi before throwing.

Simple tip: Stealing and gifting batteries is one of the fastest if not the fastest ways to get your Titan back. Kindness is rewarded pilots.
Literally only 2 times a team mate gifted me a battery, one was after a massive fight when I (a noob) managed to kill 3 enemy titans stuck together

What do you mean stealing and gifting batteries? Is that when you hop onto an enemy titan and take something out from the top of it? Does that damage the titan/Does it give you some kind of bonus? How do you gift?
行屍走肉 he means that taking a battery from a titan fills up your titan meter, and giving that battery to a friendly titan also fills up the titan meter, so stealing a battery and giving it to a teammate fills up the titan meter heaps

EDIT: If I had to give a tip, it's seriously to play through the campaign. You'll learn to get more creative with movement, plus it's just really damn good with awesome level design.

A tip for the new players: you may see people get shot out of the air when they eject from their titan. If you want to get kills like that, when that pilot ejects from their titan. There is a split second where that pilot will stay in the air. Use this moment to take a shot and snipe that kill, granted you do have to have extremely fast reaction time. However, practice always makes perfect(p.s you can also kill a pilot with their own nuke eject, by throwing a gravity star pinning them to the exploding titan)hope this helped out

Pro-ish tip:
Use the wingman when learning how to slide hop. The wingman's crosshair changes from when you are in the air or on the ground. Try and keep the crosshair open and spread out when slide hopping.
I fell in love when the first thing I did was play the gauntlet for 4 hours straight while I waited for the rest of the game to download and I've played nothing else for the past 3 days

A quick tip: If someone ever throws a fire star(thermite grenade) onto your titan you can use your electric smoke to put it out.
I wouldn't because i feel like it could be a waste of a smoke. Unless you have the upgrade. But this can be a start where i can throw a fire star, wait for them to use their smoke, then take their battery for my titan. Whose your main?
Also, as a day-1 veteran, here's a pro-tip: Actually practice your movement at the gauntlet. Dont shrug it off as a simple Tutorial Level. I learned so much from training over and over in the gauntlet, eventually making it to the top spot of it. You, Pilot, can do too!

Iniquity Games I think that we shouldn’t help them too much, and make them learn and improve like we did, instead of babying them and immediately telling them the best weapons. We need to let them experience all the guns, and let them find a loadout that’s fun for them, and not sweaty. Let them learn how to do tricks on their own cuz it’ll make them feel good and like the game more when they finally were able to pull it off.

He did make one small mistake, i get why he didn't do this cause it leaves you vulnerable for a few seconds, but he should have disembarked his titan after backing into the cluster, his northstar wouldn't have taken anymore than a few ticks of damage from it.
When you're in the air stop holding forward it will actually slow you down and can be a difficult habit to break later

If you have a thermite attached to your titan all titans can get it off:
Ion: Vortex Shield
Scorch: Flame shield
Ronin: Phase dash
All other titans: Electric Smoke p.s. be cautious about using your smoke might wanna save it for sneaky pilots.
Pro tip from someone who’s G12 and I’ve been playing for a few years now: buy all the DLC even if you don’t want it, there’ll be something there for you and you’re gonna be supporting a fair and good system, also: the flatline is the best AR in the game but you don’t get it until you’re level 47, but it’s so worth it 🔥
I started to play the game today and oh my god I've never had so much fun in a fps game since a long time ! Now my squad and I are totally in love with this game and we are so proud to give a new breath to titanfall 2, the community is so wellcoming and nice so yeah Im gonna stay here for a long time.

Pro tip: your grapple will come back and latch onto something that crossed the line after it’s already flew past. Use this to grapple above nuking titans the pilot will fly up hit the line and be pulled down and you get a free kill.
Pro Tip: The Legion Titan Core Ability (Smart Core), rapidly drains Ion's vortex shield (blue circle shield) and Scorch's Thermal Shield (red circle shield). Usually as a Legion your predator cannon shots get reflected by ion or destroyed by scorch, but using this core gives you a perfect counter for these two. Just wait for these two titans to get over eager and charge you, then use your core when they are in a position where they cannot get back to cover quickly. on top of their defensive shields being gone you get unlimited ammo for the time your core is active.
side note: Consider this tactic revenge for all the times Ion and Scorch countered you.

I've been loving this game since before I even got an Xbox to play it. My pro tip? Learn to use ur abilities to their full extent, especially with grapple, u'll have the time of ur life! I recommend going on private match beta to practice!

Tip: don’t be discouraged when you die and turtle up into a s- camper. Keep trying to move fast and aggressively and you’ll end up in more fights and soon winning more

For all the new players or people who already play this game, I just want to say welcome and hello! If your the person who wants to use a gun that's fun and also takes a lot of skill to master, I would recommend the kraber. The kraber is the first sniper rifle you unlock in the game and is a one shot kill anywhere to a pilots body. Its not like any ordinary sniper, in fact it really doesn't even act like a sniper of any other in other FPS games. Its a gun that has bullet drop and travel time with means that at far rang you have to lead your shot above the player and if there moving you will need to aim ahead or behind in the direction that there going. At medium rang is where the kraber shines. At medium rang you don't have to lead your shots up or lead in font/behind them witch means easy one shot kill. How ever there is only one other thing that you will need to learn if you want to get good with the kraber and that's the movement of Titanfall 2. My best tips for movement guides are to watch videos on yt and practicing the tips in either the gauntlet witch is the tutorial mission and is the first thang that you do in the game or private matches on any map but I would recommend doing it on all maps so you can find the best routs to take and just get familiar with all the maps for multiplayer. The reason I recommend learning the movement is because of the draw backs the kraber has because the kraber is a slow weapon to use because of its reload time and ADS speed. There are attachments that you can put on like Gun Ready witch is a necessary attachment for being consistent because it allows you to minimize the reload time animation by about half and there is another attachment called Speed Reload with just reloads your gun faster. All the other attachments are up to you to use. Now being able to use the movement is important because it allows you to run away from combat and reset your engagement. The best tacticals to use for it are stim and grapple. If there are any other tips or questions that you have about the kraber please comment them and Ill try to respond to them!
PS the worst gun to use is the Spitfire.
Tip: try different controller schemes, OR just custom map the controls how you want. I moved mine around at least 3 times before I realized Ninja was the perfect scheme for me. Default is fine, but at least try a few things out, you might be surprised how much your game improves.
I really like: L1 to jump and [hold] R1 to slide, makes movement like slide hopping really simple and can do all sorts of things while in combat, since none of my buttons are hard to reach
Doing this Also allows to to have melee on Right Stick which of course my finger rests on so I can melee a surprise player at a moment's notice when necessary
Interestingly I have the ability button on X because I think it's not too out of the way and I haven't got much of a better place to put it, but I don't see this as much of a big deal since oftentimes after using a tactical, I don't really need to do much on the right stick at THAT moment
Only grapples, which you can do fine since the grapple travel time accounts for the split second of my thumb positioning itself back on the right stick would possibly be harder if not for the above point.
And abilities like the stim or holo pilot could be a problem if using them mid battle, but I think the benefits it gives way outmatch this slight negative...
And who even uses holo pilot?
When I first started playing I loved phase shift but once i learned how to use the grapple correctly my whole life changed. A good tip is that the grapple has two charges but they dont both act the same way. Example. The first grapple charge can be used numerous times by releasing it as soon as its attached to something and the closer an object is that your grappling the less of the charge it will use. The second grapple charge can only be used once so make the most of it. There is so much to learn with the grapple that make the game so fun. Go watch some videos and learn to flyyyyy

Pro Tip: crouch when you activate your electric smoke to have a better chance at killing a rodeoing pilot
Tip: When using grenades, they have a 4/5 second countdown before they explode (it also plays a beeping noise when its close to exploding). You can use this to cook them and give the enemy no time to react when you throw it, essentially killing them.
As someone who has been paying this since the start, and still playing. I'm nearly crying seeing that many players
I’ve been playing ever since the beta and I remember grinding this game every Friday night and weekend. Titanfall was a big part of my life during that time. I stopped playing when the player amount was 3,000 but after hopping on this last weekend after about a full year of not playing, I am proud to say that it feels good to be back. Pro tip: Just have fun! If you do that, nothing can ruin the game for you!

Iniquity, you are single highhandedly making me want to get back into this game. Titan Fall 2 is my favorite shooter of at least the last decade and I love watching you play! Your grappling is sick and I wish I was that good with it.
I'm so glad titanfall 2 is free now I played it for free years then my friends hooked me on apex legends and now that it's free on playstation i can play the game that made me fall in love with the franchise. Welcome all newcomers my tip to you is to play aggressive it's the best way to play the game because you can get some crazy feeds in this game whilst running straight into the danger. Tip: when using a pilot weapon on Titans (idk why you do that) aim at the sweet spot at the front of the titan. The sweet spot is highlighted in red btw. Good luck out there

That’s amazing, Titanfall 2 has always been my favorite game since it came out but I had to abandon it bc it was difficult to get into matches from the lack of players. Us veterans gotta go easy on them, at least until they grab the ropes. To the new players, watch Iniquity’s guides and you’ll be a pro in no time.

I got into titanfall 2 a month ago because I noticed i never finished it and i was achievement hunting, I remember that what i played in the campaign was fucking awesome and was like, hmmm, yeah let's finish it.
HOLY SHIT IT'S AMAZING, after 100% the game, I grinded the shit out of the gauntlet and managed to get a 21, then decided it was time to play multiplayer, through this process started to watch your old videos to learn the movement mechanics and was surprised to see you still uploading. Love the content, purple is my favourite colour so bonus points there.
Pro tip: Don’t camp with a spitfire, g2, or a hemlok. You will be targeted by everyone on the opposing team. Then the one not having a great time will be you
Ok first thing off I’ve only played titanfall for 4 months now and the only tip I can really think of is
Don’t just use grapple or stim, I main pulse-blade and any time I have any aid to movement I feel like I know he base movement system so well I can use that enhanced movement so well
People use grapple and stim for supieror advanced maneuvers around their targets not just getting around the map
G10.04 TIP: dont use the Spitfire for social and personal purposes
For any new people I’ve been playing Titan fall for a while and I’m enjoying it. Highly recommend watching iniquity’s movement and grapple guide. My pro tip would be to know and understand your surroundings because once you learn that the game becomes more fun to play.
Pro tip: if you scream watch tone die! at the top of your lungs every time you fight one you will win

Veteran Tip! Both Legion's close-range power shot and Ion's vortex shield (after having absorbed some HITSCAN weaponry, either a legion/monarch's primary weapon fire or pilot weapons) will project a shotgun-burst that instagibs any pilot-sized targets in the blast zone, regardless of range or amount absorbed. And it doesn't need to be a full blast - you can get people in the toe and turn them to strawberry jam
tip for new people: you can kill pilots with the pulseblade (the tactic that shows you enemies through the walls)

My 2 tips I’ve learned in this game:
1) this is a fast paced game. Don’t get upset when players fly past you, get to learn the movement it really helps
2) try EVERY single weapon, titan, perk etc. Make a load out that works best for YOU
never use spitfire or g2, you will never win.

One tip: Grenadier weapons are so much fun, and really rewarding when mastered.
As someone coming from old school movement shooters (mostly Quake and Team Fortress 2) I freaking love the EPG. I just started playing a few weeks ago and was getting kinda bored using the full auto laser beam assault rifle but then I switched to the EPG and then everything started to click and I'm beginning to think this is genuinely the next step for skill based shooters.

My 3rd pro tip. Actually helpful. It takes practice, but I discovered the fastest way to embark your titan. You need stand within emvarking range and launch your Grapple hook over your landing site so the hook is returning as the titan comes down. It will instantly engage your embark. Use phase embark kit to maximize speed

phase shift when you are grappled or get hit with a gravity star to escape. if you can time it right, you can exit phase while occupying the same space as an enemy pilot for an instant pilot kill. pilots can start cooking ordinance during the phase and exit ready to toss it off.
I rememeber a few years ago, I was looking at titanfall 1 and was saying "ah I hope it's released for ps4" same day at night it was announced and I was so happy, but then once it was out it was at the same time as bf1 and I forgot, and my friends never got it.
1 week ago, I was watching gameplay and thinking I'll buy it, it was announced to be psn free for December
Tip from a longtime player: B-hopping with x and o (or a and b) can be difficult, personally I find it easier to use l1 to slide and r1 to jump (left bumper and right bumper)
Slide,jump, as soon as you jump hit slide again and your character will crouch midair, repeat. You can also gain speed by using the grapple first, etc.
Also, while turning in a direction, move in that direction as well. So if you want to turn left, then move your left stick a little to the left. This will help preserve or gain speed while b-hopping.

i used to play about 3 years ago and watched so many of your vids. i remember when i got into a game with you and had a micro heart attack. i just re downloaded on my xbox and imma play tomorrow. i probably forgot how to slide hop and grapple slingshot but hey it's my fault for not playing this amazing game.

A north star tip, his most deadly counter Titan is ronin, but the tether can be used to stop ronin’s movement for a short time so when being engaged by a ronin try to pre charge a sniper round and aim for weak points to scare him and make him use his phase shift, and while you run away put a tether in front of you since they need time to arm, and you can stop him following you you could even turn back and fire at him while he’s taking out the tether
I just fell in love with this game again. I’m not new BTW... just pulled an all nighter with returnees and newbies. My tips are as follows:
1.If you know a Pilot is on your back, put down smoke, walk forward until only your back is in the smoke, and crouch. 9/10 you’ll kill the Pilot with the smoke if they go for the battery.
2. Use the Evolved move set if you’re trying out slidehopping. It’ll allow you to crouch and aim while slidehopping and it’ll make the whole process so much easier without taking your thumb off the right stick. Also go hold to crouch instead of toggle, trust me.
3. Don’t use the Spitfire for the love of Scorch. It’s going to easily become your crutch and then the only way you’re contributing in any capacity is because you’re using it.
4. That being said, try out every other weapon you get. You never know what you will enjoy, and most of the weapons are mid tier and some are huge sleepers. Some Apex players may be alarmed with a few weapons...
5. If you ever lose motivation for learning to slidehop or other advanced movement, check Titanfall 2 Kraber montages or just hop on Twitch for streams.
6. PSA for Ion enthusiasts: do not use the alt fire in duels with other Titans. You can do massive damage without wasting energy by firing your weapon without L2 while also hitting the opponent with Laser Shots.
7. If you read this far, you must have time, so definitely regenerate your Pilot. The journey to Gen 100 is a fun one and my only regret is having 59 gens left to go.

I've been playing Titanfall 2 for a couple months now...the reason I fell in love with this game is the movement...I like games that allow you to move as fast as you want and even run on walls...can't wait to see of we get a Titanfall 3 in the 5-10 years

I fell in love with Titanfall 2 bc of the grapple hook that's where I get the most out of the game for you it may be Holo pilot, stim, phase shift,A Wall (which I hate) or pulse blade
Two vet tips: find the one titan you have the most fun with and stick to it for the first while; it’ll teach you how titans work in general far faster than trying to wrap your head around a new set of unfamiliar titan kits every time you get a titan (it can get confusing). Also, watch killcams when you die to see what they did; great way to learn how not to let it happen again :)

I've been playing for like 2 years now, my tip would be to go in a private match to practice movements, this REALLY helped me out when I first started. Also playing the campaign first helps with just a general understanding of the game

Not sure if this had been mentioned for using your grapple as a sling shot but from the guides I've watched, i personally have never heard or read this, but that doesn't mean it isnt already out there some where. However i have personally noticed, as you launch the grapple, look away and do your first jump, try to match your cameras rotation back to the pivot of the grapple to the speed of the winding sound you hear as you're pulled back to the pivot of the grapple. From there, as you continue to bring the camera to the direction you want to go, you can kinda feel out the rest from there and time your 2nd jump accordingly.
Also for slide hoping and any game where it's beneficial to have your thumb on the camera stick at all times, i highly recommend getting use to bumper jumper or what ever variant the game your concurrently playing calls it. From there if you want to invest in something with back paddles, I highly recommend that as well.

while in a titan and enemy pilot attempts rodeo, crouch and deploy electric smoke countermeasure. staying in a crouched position helps ensure a pilot kill almost every time the pilot commits to the rodeo.
