Your answer that a car can’t pass if a school bus red lights stop flashing but not in motion is wrong. You can pass the school bus as long as the red lights stop even the bus is still parked in front.
Indeed, these questions help, but only few of them will show up in the actual written test. I did took the actual written test and passed it, with 1 wrong. For your info, try to read the DMV "California Driver's Handbook" cover to cover several times. All the answers are in the driver's handbook.

#21. How can you judge a driver who cannot see the rear of their vehicle? Can you?
Some of these questions are answered, explained in pamphlet differently....so lots of luck, I guess.
Are these are on the written test in California?
Took my test yesterday. No they are not actual. 90 percent took guesswork and mostly all were worded much differently than this test. The questions and the answers to most of them. Still helps to go through them but if you memorize, you will be surprised how different the wording really is. Read ALL 3 options to each test as some may have partial answers then you have to pick the one closes to it. I wish there was an actual REAL study written test online, so far, none! There were 25 questions and I got 3 wrong, mostly guessing because memorizing is not enough. Take your time, use process of elimination or common sense. The handbook says 18 questions 3 errors only. This was not so and was told everybody takes 25 questions. Read the handbook again, nothing about 25 questions.

FYI pedestrians have the right of way no matter where they cross. You never run over a pedestrian dummy! 😂 So this is correct.
