Love to finally see someone react to this group! So unknown by so many. Keep it going! Listen to "U&Me" next by Alt-J

You kind of hit on one the most interesting things about Alt J, and that's the fact that their drummer doesn't use cymbals. There aren't any on his trap set and I think that makes him a much better drummer than most. It certainly makes the percussion stand out much more than every other band.

Another great band and great reaction here. I would like to recommend another band who do things differently - Everything Everything. Maybe start with Night of the Long Knives, or Distant Past. I think you would love them.

The visuals match other worldly music. Taking through such soothing emotions

Also, "Love Interruption" is the Jack White song that Greg cited--another great tune.

Try your hand at "Call the Police" by LCD Soundsystem

I've mentioned LCD Sound System to Greg. He said he has one in the pipeline for posting. If we don't see one soon, I'll be sure to include one in my next round recording with him. Call the Police, Drunk Girls, North American Scum, Someone Great, they're all good to me.I would love to see him react the video for Jump. Into the Fire from the Madison Square Garden "farewell" show...

Well, obviously we need more music by red heads. Tori Amos? Shirley Manson? Danny Elfman? Who else am I missing?

Viz called him 'the flame-haired minstrel of soul' (which was also our pub quiz team name for a while): Mick Hucknall. On second thoughts...

You should have listen to the Trinitones acapella version of this. It’s aca awesome. Actually it isn’t but neither is it aca awful.
