Route 180 is operated on a part hybrid, part electric contract meaning these diesel E400s aren't allowed to operate. Voith Enviro400s are commonly known to be sluggish vehicles off the mark, but this one here, rapid! Paired with a few tricks to confuse the gearbox is a beastly combination. After each forced downshift the bus managed to hold gears within the region of 2500 - 3000rpmm in some cases using that to our advantage and reaching speeds of 65mph. During many points during the journey the sheer power produced from the confusions sounded very similar to that of the Euro 4 variant.
