You have gone down the rabbit hole. Yes this is country. Luke has won Entertainer of the Year at the Country Music Awards & has a few #1 hits. Puts on a great concert & is a nice guy.
Play it again, that’s my kind of night, don’t want this night to end, crash my party! Just to name a few! Just about every song of Luke’s songs are awesome!!!!
Luke is one of the best Country singers out there. He's married to his college sweetheart and they both are notorious for pranking each other. They even prank his mom, LeClair, occasionally. Their pranks are hilarious! His family life has been hard, to say the least. He lost his sister when she was only 39 to unknown causes. Later he lost his brother-in-law to a heart attack. Luke and his wife Caroline adopted his sister and brother-in-law's 3 children after the death of their dad. He's a really good guy all around. Gets along well with other country singers and, of course, pulls pranks on some of them too. This is another rabbit hole like Home Free. Tons of great music. Also, Home Free has a "Butts Remix Medley" that showcases part of this song and that's another request for you to react to. You will love it and laugh all the way through it. Take care & God bless.
Luke Bryan is considered rock country This is a huge anthem type song that you will see become an absolute party at his concerts! He used to be a huge spring break down in Florida performer because of his style. Please check out some Jason Aldean - lights come on, hicktown, crazy town, my kinda party in particular come with the same energy as this luke Bryan song.
Luke Bryan is huge. He's a judge on American Idol. He grew up in Leesburg, GA about 30 miles from where I live. I guess you can call it new country, but this song came out in 2011 and reached #4 on the country charts. He has over 20 #1 country hits.
Yeah! I like this one its fun!!! New country isn't quite like the old classic country, but still like it!! It has banjo and fiddle!! I think you'd like more of the new country because there's a lot like this. I like all music really!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Luke is from around my area. He went to school like a couple counties over from me. His main guitarist and I graduated together and it is so cool to see someone you went to school with do something big with their life. I mean from my perspective in little ole south Georgia.
Hey Jay, check out Lainey Wilson with Hardy, Wait in the Truck. You may just recognize her from your Yellowstone reactions since she is in it. Please watch the official video.
Welcome to “New Country”; first ushered in by Garth Brooks and others in the early 90s and set up a competition of sorts between Traditional and New. I like both, and a lot of artists do both to keep in touch with their predecessors. You have a lot of ground to cover now with Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Lainey Wilson, Luke C and Luke B, and Toby Keith, and a host of others!!!
You need to check out Junior Brown. He invented the guit-steel. He goes from country to surf sounds, like the Beach Boys and Jimi Hendrix. Sugar Foot Rag is good, Highway Patrol, and My Wife Thinks You're Dead is hilarious 😂. Hope you dive in and enjoy 😊
Keep exploring the genre and you'll be amazed by the variety of styles country artists offer, but they all bring that hard to describe country soul. For a few examples, check out Morgan Wallen "Thinkin' Bout Me" and Upchurch, "Real Country" and Blake Shelton "God's Country" (produced in Oklahoma I believe), or one of Kenny Chesney's mellow island songs "Old Blue Chair". There's also a great collaboration showcasing numerous country stars/groups and their styles, "Forever Country", which includes some of the older generation like Dolly Parton and Charlie Pride along with the new.
I would say that this is a country/rock/pop mix - & is GREAT! Look what happens when you get beyond Rap, Eh, J.? (Yes, I am Canadian.) This is new to me as well - not growing up on much country but a BIT of Canadian country ie. Shania Twain, Blue Rodeo (you still haven't heard) & a few more. I REALLY like this. It is up-beat, boppy & fun. I would be very happy to hear more of this type (even though a city-girl myself.) Check it out J., & I will be right here with you! By the way, Shania Twain was ALSO classified as "New Country" & you DO enjoy reacting to her.
Luke Bryan brings that country soul, no doubt...and he is a good soul too, a fine human being. If you'd like to listen to more I'd suggest his welcoming "What Makes You Country" or a fun party song "One Margarita". Also, he was recently in a collaboration with Shenandoah and Jason Aldean, "Sunday In The South", which is full of down home heart. And check out his recent collaboration with Quavo and Teddy Swims, "Georgia Ways"? Quavo's got some country soul too.
So glad you are giving new country a chance ! I like to say we don’t always want to cry in our beers lol ain’t nothing wrong with bobbing the head or shaking it to the songs they can still be country (but if you do want to cry in the beer “drink a beer” by Luke Bryan ) if you want to ease your way in to the new country maybe do the early 2000s stuff I would love if you checked out Brad paisley , not old school not new school more like middle school 😂.
Haha. I really enjoy talking about how "not country" Luke Bryan is. I do like a lot of his music. Reminds me of the 80s soft rock i always loved. I'd like to recommend a much newer country artist who is also a lot more traditional country: Zach Top. He's gotten a lot of airplay with "Sounds Like The Radio." I'd also recommend "Use Me" or "Cold Beer And Country Music."
He definitely has a lot of good songs you would enjoy. If you'd like to hear another country rock kind of song you could play. Jason Aldean "try that in a small town." That's a good one too
I love the old & the NEW country. The new stuff is so cool. You will love it!! There is rocking beats, electric, & even some rap! Try Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, & Eric Church. They are shaking things up in country music.
Here’s a couple more Country artists that have been around for years and are putting out hits; and that you have reacted to: Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney. I think you’ve done Kenny twice and Tim once. Try Tim’s “Don’t Take The Girl”, and Kenny’s “Boys Of Fall”. The latter is right up your alley, since you were a coach! Do the video.
Hey Jordan, your next Luke Bryan foray should be That's My Kind Of Night!! Talk about a banger of a country song!! You'll never get tired of hearing it over and over!! LMAO
I’ll be nice and not say anything about LB. If you want to check some modern Country that’s actually “Country”, the best in my ears is “Randall King”. I suspect as a huge George Strait fan, you will love Randall as well. Maybe start with “Hey Moon”, or “Around Forever” (which you have to listen to the intro as well, cause it’s important). But you also have Cody Johnson “Till You Can’t” is a great starting point, Ashley McBryde “Stone” or “A Little Dive Bar In Dahlonega”
I agree with you about George Strait. This is not really country in my opinion. Luke Bryan has got some good country songs, but I don't include this one. I do like Luke's judging on American Idol
Luke owned the 2010s in country. This is “Bro Country”, a lot of traditionalist hated it but it was the soundtrack to my late teens and early 20s. It’s dope, you’ll like Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line too 💯
Luke Bryan is my favourite Country artist. Please react to more of his songs. Drunk on You is my favourite. Also, what do you use to record your videos? Is it OBS Studio?
Now go listen to Lainey Wilson!! Do Grease!!! Other Luke Bryan songs Play it again Knocking Boots But I got a Beer in my hand Do I Morgan Wallen- Up Down

How about Luke Bryan with trace adkins and pit bull singing where the country girls at
Funny. I get the point about "new" country but this song is over 12 years old! I had a similar reaction when I first heard this one, no doubt it's a seriously catchy song. 😄
Luke Bryan does these concerts he calls Farm Tours, I've seen 2 in my town of Mechanicsburg Ohio. Sets up the band on a local farmers land, and the first one I saw was next door to the farm I lived in at the time. I walked out my back door and walked into the concert. What an experience! He does about 4 a year. Look up Like Bryan Farm Tours later this year and go! He brings at least 2 other bands!
Now go the total opposite and listen to his song Build Me A Daddy, or his 2 part song I Don’t Want This Night To End, and part 2 is Drunk On You. Need to watch the official videos to get the full feel of the songs, but his well of songs are great. He hasn’t toured as much or recorded albums due to being judge on American Idol. Getting back into touring as he’s fulfilled his contract with Idol.
You have gone down the rabbit hole. Yes this is country. Luke has won Entertainer of the Year at the Country Music Awards & has a few #1 hits. Puts on a great concert & is a nice guy.

Don’t forget “Rollercoaster”
@@sek795 there’s so many that’s exactly y I said to name a few!

Hunting and fishing is my personal favorite of his. His personal life story is something too.
One of the few new country songs and artists I like
Oohhh also Brothers Osbourne doing It Ain’t My Fault is a banger.
Luke Bryan is huge. He's a judge on American Idol. He grew up in Leesburg, GA about 30 miles from where I live. I guess you can call it new country, but this song came out in 2011 and reached #4 on the country charts. He has over 20 #1 country hits.
He is my favorite!!!!!!!!!! Seen him in concert 5 times. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ NO Luke, YOU shake it for ME!!
Yes! It is country music. Luke Bryan is a stretcher and a puller. Molding and shaping country into new patterns🙌
Sound more like he's trying way too hard to resurect southern rock. Almost a parody of that era
Not country music...country pop. 😏
Yay! You should hit “Play It Again” by Luke Bryan. Another great song from him.
Country is evolving even more today with R&B and Rappers joining the parade. Jelly Roll is one of the hottest tickets right now.
It's called Country Rock. The best kind of country.
I think new country started with Big and Rich. Also need to check out Brantley Gilbert “Kick It in the Sticks”
Hell yes! you picked a good one .
Move is a good one too. You really can't go wrong with Luke Bryan
I think I liked Jay's reaction more than the song. This may be the first time I've seen him sing along to the song.
Yeah! I like this one its fun!!! New country isn't quite like the old classic country, but still like it!! It has banjo and fiddle!! I think you'd like more of the new country because there's a lot like this. I like all music really!!!❤❤❤❤❤

It's a style of country. Country music changes every 15 years. While I still like country, my personal favorite is the 90's style.
You like Brooks & Dunn, they can rock it too! “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” is a line dance anthem.
Hey Jay, check out Lainey Wilson with Hardy, Wait in the Truck. You may just recognize her from your Yellowstone reactions since she is in it. Please watch the official video.
He's from Ga. Went to Ga. Southern... Love Luke Bryan..
please do Brad Paisley ft Alison Krauss Whiskey Lullaby make sure do video

Any song that gives a little natural Prozac to your brain is a good tune! Go Luke!❤
That’s my kind of night. Is a must!

Love you Miss you Mean it is a great Luke Bryan song

we got all kinds of country
Can't tell you exactly who, but a number of DJ's have mixed this with rappers and hip hop to excellent results. Hunt around a little.
I love the old & the NEW country. The new stuff is so cool. You will love it!! There is rocking beats, electric, & even some rap! Try Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, & Eric Church. They are shaking things up in country music.
Sam Hunt!
Do jason aldean dirt road anthem
Check out Maddie and Tae Girl in a country song. Its in response to "Bro" country. This is definitely "bro" country.
Check out his song Drink A Beer.
You have got to hear David Ball doing "I Let Her Lie". He sounds so much like Keith Whitley.

Definitely need to check out some Brantley Gilbert too. Kick It In The Sticks, One Hell Of An Amen, Read Me My Rights, Bottoms Up.

"One Margarita"
Luke Brian's song DO I is a heartfelt ballad. PLAY IT AGAIN is a fast fun song
This reminded me of Homefree doing “Butt Remix” 😆. If you haven’t yet, checkout that Homefree video! 😁
There's a lot of good new country, Jay. Try One Mississippi by Kane Brown, or anything by Kane Brown. He's got a great voice that you'll really enjoy.
You should research his story. There is definitely a story that is both tragic and heartwarming.
No, not even close. I feel like this guy failed home room, that poor bastard.
Check out colt ford. He opened up for Toby Keith.
Luke and Jason Aldean!!
Hit maker!
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️

I agree with you about George Strait.

Paint by numbers bro country. Not my cup of tea, but there’s plenty of bros out there.
Try "That's my kind of night"
To answer your question, no, it's not country.
This boy is from my home state of Georgia!!!
Most of the new country is not country it is soft rock
