yeah just like you im surprised that these are not more talked about. i hated having to grab the box and foam to flip the car just to get to the clips to take the body off. always risking breaking the antennas. so i replaced all my bodies with magnets and i have extra magnets and mounts for future bodies 😁
Im on same page as you, the clips was just tedious to get the body on and off such a pain, and the ease of it with the mag set up is just night and day, really surprised its not on every sick build, but in the FB groups some complaining the magnets too strong and body sits higher, Im thinking they didnt put the mag in the slot n hooking it up magnet to magnet because mine sits same as with clips and the plastic slice between magnets makes it a breeze to remove the body but strong enough they hold while I bang bumper hoping

I don’t have a name for mine yet cause it’s not worthy yet all I have done to mine is just put on the low profile chrome wheels from REDCAT 🤣 ……. I still have not put on the decals 🤦🏻♂️
Thx for the support. No it's not mag to mag. The bracket that mounts to bumper has a slot the mag slides into, this keeps a slither of plastic between magnets so its not impossible to separate the two
Between the body mount and rear bumper on each corner. Bumper mounts go through lexan mold Spacer go on bumper after bumper through the hole Mount sandwich spacer and lexan to bumper
you can sorta do similar with magnets on your own but this will shift up where the body sits. The mag mount set up repositions the magnets on the body higher up so when they click on the chassis side the body sits at the same height as with clips

No it's not mag to mag. The bracket that mounts to bumper has a slot the mag slides into, this keeps a slither of plastic between magnets so its not impossible to separate the two
