I enjoy your videos Eric. Watching them has made me a better straight razor shaver. I try to pay close attention to your technique and try it out. Now if I could only hone as you do 😊.
Great shave with that WOA edge Eric! Now that I have one, I’m gonna have to try out that edge! And you mention 50° being cold? 😅 I think it was 21 here this morning🥶
Best way I figured out to break a boar brush in is soak it in cold water overnight in the fridge, take it out and lather it on a cheap bar of soap throughout the day, and repeat for a couple days. I also rub it on a towel after shaving to get it dry which works the bristles in kind of like rubbing it on the face. My old barber who cut hair since WW2 taught me that trick.
@ I like that it isn’t bleached. I haven’t seen any that are natural color. Boar is about all I reach for most of the time. It has the best backbone and can whip up a fast lather on any soap even the hardest triple milled.

It's really cool to see the real progression of whisker removal in a 3 pass shave. Revelatory.
Thanks man, it’s a great way to shave.
Nice to see you again Eric. black badger brush that's grate.

I really enjoyed the shave, and the fact that you used two razors is very interesting. Well done, you have excellent skills! 🔥
Thanks man, I really enjoyed your content as well.
Thank you for sharing. I have not seen a morley with that grind before. It looked like you had a successful honing session.
Take care Eric.
Glad you enjoyed it! It’s a big nice razor that just needed a little TLC
Great edges as always Eric! It was 20* this morning when I got off duty. As I’m watching this it’s 25* and starting to snow ❄️⛷️❄️⛷️
Sounds like a good day to stay inside and nurse on a maple bourbon 😜
Great shave Eric. I really need to get a few of Joe's soaps to try out.
You won't be disappointed!
Hi Eric great shave, have a great day 👍
Thanks Robert

This one I am afraid I set too deep. Hopefully it gets better

Hi Eric. Nice shave 👍
Thanks for watching
Great shave my friend! I have a black boar knot I think you will like much better. A lot easier to break in.
Thanks Barry, I think I set that knot too deep. It’s been a bitch to break in.
-3° h.ere this morning. I feel so horrible for you my brother. If you need any help making it through those frigid temps, just let me know.
Oh no, not for me, I am too tropical 😝
