You can find the visual / written tutorial and where to buy it on ifixit.com: www.ifixit.com...
Here is a track made entirely with the OP-1: / nimbus

Thanks for the detailed directions about the butterfly switches. I had to take a handful of buttons and switches off to clean them with some cotton swabs and water because of a Coke spill. I really did think I broke the switch when the first one popped off. Listening to your comments made me realize it was fine and I got everything back together again.

Very nice video you made, but I noticed 2 mistakes that I would like to point out to you. Firstly, in minute 23:00 you said that the shiny side must be on top to prevent short circuits. This is unfortunately not true, as you can see in minute 12:04 the insulation belongs the other way round (you can also see this from the cut-out in the insulation). And in minute 18:30 you compare the two boards, the new board has no insulation. I assume you have to transfer the insulation from the old board.
Maybe you can check again and fix these things to prevent further damage.
    Cheers ;)

Very true! I did the mistake to not transfer the insulation from the old board to the new one and had to redo it all again when I realized it lol. Another mistake is that he is removing the screen, which is absolutely not necessary and just opens up for more potential risk for harm. Otherwize very good video.

So helpful. Sadly I just broke the volume knob. It clings on it but totally not functioning. Heartbroken.

Thanks for this! But why remove the display? I see no reason for that.

Hey thanks for your video, do you know the problem when a note of the Keyboard was at first stuck at sometime when its used and now it dont function?

Try remove the key from the keywords and clean under it and see if it works. If not, the next step would be to replace the keyboard and hope it will work.

I dropped my OP-1 and broker the volume knob too.. and also been living with it set at a fixed volume. I was hoping to just simply replace the volume pot itself though, I'm guessing this isn't an option at all?

That is an option, but you’ll like to find the volume pot somewhere. Ifixit only carries the UI board. You’ll also want to be confident in your soldering abilities.
