I'm in Texas and did the farmers market double up food bucks today. I needed tomatoes and onions and squash. I doubled $5 to $10 and got what I needed and have $1 left over. I don't need meat but I can get meat there too. Thanks for telling me about this great program to stretch my $23 EBT.
my son built two ADU's on his property.. One for himself when he was renovating a mobile home on the property, and the other one for someone that was on a limited income. My brother now lives in one as well on his property. I am hoping the city he lives in sees this as a good thing. Because they could easily come in and make him tear it all apart. People need affordable homes!!

U sound like me and my husband we only get 150 a month But there’s other people I know that are getting over a thousand a month We are seniors and only living own 1480 a month I need a roof so bad but I can’t even afford home insurance All the homes around my neighbor hood there’s immigrants that lives in these homes and they are building extras rooms on the houses And I know they are getting help from the government America doesn’t care about the people that was born here and pay there taxes .. It’s Ridiculous that they don’t care about us!!!

I think it's partly DEI policies, and the reality of minimum wage limiting hiring in some businesses. Also, machines are cheaper and more accurate than humans so self-checkout and self-ordering isn't going away anytime soon, IMHO 😅

I'm a senior on a fixed income circa 2006 living in California the most expensive state in the US and we seniors get nothing and my 2006 retirement income which is worthless compared to 2024 cost of living, WTF?

I would view more often if the titles could include which states are relevant to the clip's discussion. So many times when I have listened to video clips, my state was not included, and so for a while I just stopped listening. If I could see my state in the title, I would watch it every time. Not sure this is practical for you though.
I'm in dire need for funding for housing help as well as GI programs, in Florida! So far the only GI thing I've seen was in 2021 or 2022 in Gainesville, for former inmates. Nothing else available... I’ve tried to apply to Americorps senior programs you mentioned in another video, hoping they offered a stipend as you said. The only thing they give a stipend for is Foster grandparent program, where you have to go into a school and help children. The companion program offers no stipend. Do you know of any other programs for seniors that offers a stipend ?
Any help in Tennessee for the disabled. Ssdi Gave me survivor's benefits and took my health insurance told me I make too much for food stamps. Lucky me
I would love some support returning to work. I feel like there are so many technological advances that I need some training and support to be competitive in the job market, and these educational programs are expensive.

I'm pretty sure I have CMAS cell mast activation syndrome. I can only work from home. I'm 60 years old. I work from home now but my hours have been reduced a little. Everyone's hours are being reduced so it's not just me. If I can find a medical treatment I might be able to go back to work outside my home but finding a doctor who is familiar with CMAS is very difficult. I retired early from my job in 2018 due to medical problems but I do not receive retirement income yet.

I spend a lot of time searching online for help, only to find mostly scams designed to run you around in circles. Since you are obviously reading from a script, can't you include a transcript for us to read ourselves that includes the links to the programs you are mentioning? Sometimes you just talk too fast to copy down the links. It can't be TOO hard to copy your script and the links here into the video's description.

I've been turned down for snap benefits, refused medicaid, and some years ago I called the Council for Aging and they told me they would NOT help me and to never csll them back so I haven't. I'm 74 on SS so I just gave up. No point in any of this.
I’am 62 and don’t have a degree or GED I have final stenosis on C3 and C4 was told I need surgery and I have a herniated disc on L5 S1 and from standing for eight hours a day At Walmart I have from my back it caused neuropathy in my feet and I have major back problems so to find something to help me go to work is would not be good. I need to have this pain, relief for my neck and my lower back and my feetand get into good health and then maybe that will happen but at age 62 I don’t know
PEOPLE DONT NEED MORE SHELTERS, THEY NEED AFORDABLE HOMES. REDICULOUS! When they could easily convert these buildings into homes for people.

Since you are obviously reading from a script, can't you include a transcript for us to read ourselves that includes the links to the programs you are mentioning? Sometimes you just talk too fast to copy down the links. It can't be TOO hard to copy your script and the links here into the video's description.

I watch these videos and have yet to find anything useful. I've been turned down for snap benefits, refused medicaid, and some years ago I called the Council for Aging and they told me they would NOT help me and to never csll them back so I haven't. I'm 74 on SS so I just gave up. No point in any of this.

I’am 62 and don’t have a degree or GED I have final stenosis on C3 and C4 was told I need surgery and I have a herniated disc on L5 S1 and from standing for eight hours a day At Walmart I have from my back it caused neuropathy in my feet and I have major back problems so to find something to help me go to work is would not be good. I need to have this pain, relief for my neck and my lower back and my feetand get into good health and then maybe that will happen but at age 62 I don’t know
