Try to find copies of the Pleasant Valley War that occured in the 1880's. My first one, "A little war of our own" by Don Dedera was my first. Insanely violent Arizona history! Young is such a wonderful town, you'd never think such horrific things happened there. In gov. Hunts tomb, the pyramid close to the Phx. zoo are him, his wife and her parents. Her dad, Jesse Ellison led the vigilante committee during the war.
