Tbh, I think he might be getting a little better than Warner at the Linebacker position. He makes a little more noise out there. Rarely miss tackles, ints, more explosive than Fred. He's been everywhere out there. Fred has been a little more quiet at times. He just doesn't get around like Greenlaw does and it shows. It was Greenlaw nearly getting another int in the end zone. It's Greenlaw stopping 3rd down conversions. It was Greenlaw tipping the ball on a int. I think he's becoming somewhat better than Warner.

Warners got 10 pass break ups this season. Warner has been playing like a db lowkey this year and he is the perfect field general. They all complement each others play style is all I am saying.

the 49er offense is literally tailor made for a back like mccaffrey who can line up and be dangerous everywhere, don't think they could have gotten a better back for that system. Also his biggest issue in carolina was they had no one else so everything got piled on him and he'd get injured. The niners have plenty of personal so he can share carries, take downs off etc, which should (hopefully) really help keeping him healthy. awesome to see. He is such a great player who's last few years have been marred by injury, hope this sees him return to greatness

All else aside, this 49ers team is just fun to watch. Their scheming is so creative. Their execution is on point. They have it clicking in all four phases. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Super Bowl LIV rematch this year.
The td run by Purdy for the second score of this game is a revelation on several different levels into the makeup of this young man. Immediately after the snap, he's in shotgun position so he is in great position and sees everyone progressioning into their individual routes. The defense is also making great progress towards him faster than his guys can get into their spots. What does he do? He doesn't panick, he doesn't try to force it in there (like someone we know 😆 and get easily picked). He quickly takes it upon himself and scrambles towards the end zone with greatfootwork. He also has the awareness to extend the ball into the end zone way before he himself enters it to ensure a td before anyone from the defense has an opportunity to take him down. Folks, this is maturity beyond our expectations. He is poised beyond his years, his confidence in himself is undaunting, his high awareness of the situation at hand is phenomenal, his built-in and automatic reactions to the situations he's thrown into is so advanced that I'm speechless. I can only say that his experiences as a 4 years starter in college has been, and is currently now priceless for him and us as fans of the 49ers organization. What a fortune we have in drafting this gem as our last pick and the final draft pick for the 2022 draft class. Gooooooo 9ers!!!

It has been two games which is always a must mention, but Purdy looks so willing to do the things Jimmy won't. Pushing the ball outside the numbers when its open (even though he doesn't necessarily have the arm for it), taking that extra second and not just blindly ripping the ball into the middle of the field, and so far he's shown a solid pocket presence to move the pocket and make those out of structure plays. Hope he keeps it up would be a cool story. Besides we all know how the Jimmy G experience ends with this team.

Isnt it refreshing? Yes, not just the best performing this year, but ever since jimmyg been here. Finally a QB that can throw and is mobile. 2 deep passes for 2 touchdowns. Jimmy wont even attempt it, much less completing one.
Buc's defense gave Brady so many chances to come back, but he kept squandering the opportunities. Brady's inability to scramble is really hurting the Bucs. Also, Purdy took some BIG hits. You just know those would have been roughing the passer penalties had it been Brady on the receiving end.
Pasta Chocolate Niners defense last couple years wasn't as good as those teams I mentioned. One tier below. Are they as good this year though? The statistics are starting to support that, but we will see as the season continues.

I have been saying all season the Bucs are a weak team that got lucky to be in a week division. The recent comebacks were more due to teams going into prevent defenses and givng up receptions.

I think part of why CMC is thriving is because he's not being asked to be a 3 down back. He split carries with Jordan Mason so he can move around the field effectively as a receiver. He had that nice reception to a TD on the sideline too. So as long as the Niners got another guy in the back field whose efficient and explosive, Niners can throw any look against defenses and they all gotta pick their poison.

Really hope Deebo’s ankle isn’t that serious. I was so scared it was a severe knee injury when he went down with that awkward tackle. Aside from that I really like what I’ve seen from Purdy so far. The td run by Purdy for the second score of this game is a revelation on several different levels into the makeup of this young man.
Immediately after the snap, he's in shotgun position so he is in great position and sees everyone progressioning into their individual routes. The defense is also making great progress towards him faster than his guys can get into their spots.
What does he do? He doesn't panick, he doesn't try to force it in there (like someone we know 😆 and get easily picked). He quickly takes it upon himself and scrambles towards the end zone with greatfootwork. He also has the awareness to extend the ball into the end zone way before he himself enters it to ensure a td before anyone from the defense has an opportunity to take him down.
Folks, this is maturity beyond our expectations. He is poised beyond his years, his confidence in himself is undaunting, his high awareness of the situation at hand is phenomenal, his built-in and automatic reactions to the situations he's thrown into is so advanced that I'm speechless.
I can only say that his experiences as a 4 years starter in college has been, and is currently now priceless for him and us as fans of the 49ers organization. What a fortune we have in drafting this gem as our last pick and the final draft pick for the 2022 draft class.

It has been two games which is always a must mention, but Purdy looks so willing to do the things Jimmy won't. Pushing the ball outside the numbers when its open (even though he doesn't necessarily have the arm for it), taking that extra second and not just blindly ripping the ball into the middle of the field, and so far he's shown a solid pocket presence to move the pocket and make those out of structure plays. Hope he keeps it up would be a cool story. Besides we all know how the Jimmy G experience ends with this team.

I have been saying all season the Bucs are a weak team that got lucky to be in a week division. The recent comebacks were more due to teams going into prevent defenses and givng up receptions.

I think part of why CMC is thriving is because he's not being asked to be a 3 down back. He split carries with Jordan Mason so he can move around the field effectively as a receiver. He had that nice reception to a TD on the sideline too. So as long as the Niners got another guy in the back field whose efficient and explosive, Niners can throw any look against defenses and they all gotta pick their poison.
