I am a Korean who became a fan of the Giants after watching Tim Lincecum's dominant pitching in 2008. I have never seen a Korean player who has hung out with his teammates and shown confidence in his first mlb season. I believe it bodes well for Giants. 2024 season will be very exciting to watch!! 😊
This guy alone was a huge breath of fresh air for the Giants as were all the other good pickups in the off-season. We needed someone like him. Can't wait to see him play at the home opener!
Jung-Hoo Lee not only is a complete player, he's also VERY charming. Great personality. Doesn't have a huge ego that will get in his way of becoming better. He just needs to be patient this year with himself & have realistic expectations because rookie year for foreign players is always the hardest. The transition from Korean/Japanese baseball to MLB is tough. Especially with the language barriers and trying to get used to the pitching, which JHL has already admitted in interviews is the hardest thing he's dealing with. By the end of the season, he'll have it all down and hopefully w/o injuries.
GIANTS you will never regret him. I've seen him seven years since his debut. He has shown consistency at the top level. Can't wait to see him in a new league and new team. Sure that you guys will enjoy to see him!!! 정후야 엠엘비 씹어먹쟈!!!!
As a life long Giants fan, it's been a while since I've been this excited for a player to come and join the G-Squad. It makes it that more exciting given that I'm Korean-American and for him to "represent" a country where my parents birth place was makes it that much more special. I can't imagine the pressure he must be facing at his age, 25 years old when all the Koreans here in the US and back in Korea will be closly watching him but I'm very confident he will be a great addition/contribute greatly for the Giants. Let's go JHL and let's do this Giants!!!!

As a French Giants fan since 2007, coming in Japan and playing there for 10 years as a CF, 1st batter, a righty batting from the left side, and Ichiro being my favorite player ever, so exactly like Jung Hoo Lee, I can already say he will easily be my new favorite Giants player. Good luck Lee !! 🔥
@@overtheuniverse06 what I meant by ''I live in Japan'' was the fact I'm also playing in another country, France (barely no baseball) -> Japan and Lee, Korea -> US. 10 japanese players in MLB and not one playing in SF so I don't mind supporting Lee instead haha. We had Tsutsugo this spring but only 1 hit so didn't last long..
Ive been watching Junghoo for awhile in the Korean league so the fact that hes finally in the MLB and on the Giants has introduced me to so many cool things. I've never really followed the MLB let alone the Giants, I always tended to be a bigger fan of the international side of baseball but JH changed that for me. SF has been nothing but welcoming and such a bright spot, I hope JH has a HoF career here and I couldnt be more proud to wear a SF Giants jersey from now on.

I love the players who have come from Japan and Korea to play in the MLB. They know the competition is going to be a tier above what they were used to and the local fans might not embrace them as they did back home, but they see it as an opportunity and they don't squander it. They have immense respect for the game, their team, and their coaches.

When Ha Seong Kim first went to the U.S., I was worried about whether he would do well, but Jungwoo Lee just thinks he would do well, so I'm not worried at all. Because he is a genius. His dad was really, really, really a genius.
