Awesome fish! One thing I never considered was going in reverse to fight the fish in front of me. Makes perfect sense and I hope to give it a try soon!
Personally I would not use anything higher than 30 lb in that area from a kayak, easy to tangle your line in a kelp, during tides/winds you can flip your kayak.
Really enjoyed that - nice work! Love the camera setup with the 360 over the shoulder and then the standard camera opposite of that on the front. Great use of both angles to tell the story.
Would you be able to explain your weight-flasher-leader connection? I run 2 feet between weight and flasher and it seems you run less but still get good flasher action
That intro sequence was very cool! Nice fish!
Awesome!!
Good stuff! 👋 from the other side of the JDF.
My son is on base. Can he fish easily from the base side?
Beautifully filmed! Congrats on the big king!
Thank you very much!

I would like to be there when you catch a bigger fish. 😉
Bad ass cut!
Thank you!
Nice fish! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Love the video. Hope to see you out on the water this year!
Thanks. Holler at me when you see me on the water.
Great footage!! What is your main line and leader? What strength?
Main: 30lb braid, leader: 50lb mono. Thanks for watching!

18" between weight and flasher. I use a flasher with a kicker fin.
