I don't think Jamie would be surprised, he knows the man well enough that this youtube channel is just an extension for Adam to keep talking. As a "Jamie" personality, I have a couple "Adam" type personalities I'm friends with and get along with great. Thing is I hang out with them, see them a few hours a week, maybe go on a weekend trip or something. And they do listen, they aren't the types to talk over you(which would instantly make them not friends). I'd imagine though working 60-70 hours a week with them, I'd get real tired of their asses lol, just like Jamie and Adam.

I can attest to the insane scheduling as well. A few years ago I was one of one hundred people to get a photo with the president at the White House. We were all lined up in our groups of two and shuffled in with the president for a 30 second photo op. Despite the fact that the lead up that day took hours, once the line started moving it took conservatively less than an hour start to finish. It was clear that sort of thing happens on a regular basis.

Your comments on Obama are quite interesting Adam. Caveat, I'm Canadian and have no real knowledge of American politics.
While in office he always appeared to me to be a highly intelligent man who wanted everyone to pull the same direction on the rope to make the world a better place. Didn't matter if the direction was his, as long as it was the right one. He also came across as someone I'd love to have as my neighbour. (Not because it would mean my house was worth 20 or 30x is value.) He just seems like a genuinely nice individual, who ACTUALLY GIVES A DAMN. Something all of our politicians need to learn and aspire to.

@Mck Idyl Adam is 100% a clown. He is always pranking colleagues and friends. (which is why they pranked him back albeit a bit too far with the shock). Colin has a wild personality, but he isn't dangerous to work with. I can guarantee Adam has done far more risky things than Colin has in his shed. I think when you put two people together, they find a medium balance naturally anyway. People naturally mimic and adapt (like how some people find themselves accidentally mimicking accents on the phone) so together, I think they would find a nice working relationship. Adam,
If you're lookiing for people that blow things up in England try the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) in Buxton, England. Buxton is just outside of Manchester.
I was there to witness the testing of detonation arrestors. Detonation arrestors are required for the isolation of tankers and shore facilities to prevent a detonation in vapor recovery lines. At the time I was there, the concept of stopping a detonation traveling through a 16" pipe going from ship to shore or vice versa was in it's infancy. HSE set up a pipe of sufficient length to have an explosive gas mixture ignited by a spark plug at one end. The ignition created a flame which was able to reach speeds faster than the speed of sound prior to reaching the arrestor. There was a small length of pipe with a plastic bag downstream of the arrestor. If the gas downstream ignited the arrestor failed. If the flame stopped at the arrestor it passed.
The test facility was adjacent to a tunnel, if I remember correctly, with jet engines at one end. The tunnel had a layer of coal dust on the floor. The HSE tested ways to reduce the damages and to protect miners in the event of a mine explosion.
They showed us the remains of a mockup of the escaltors in a subway station that had a fire that was accelerated by the push of the trains approaching the station.
The people there were errily brilliant in their ability to not only model disasters and to find solutions. What a great way to spend a career, blowing things up and finding ways to mitigate the results.
    Bob

A fiend and I were hanging out on 53rd and 3rd in NYC one beautiful afternoon in April. It was right after 9/11 around...about a year later. We noticed a person coming out of the firehouse that was stationed at the corner. Mobs of people starting forming because it was Bill Clinton. My friend and I got really close to him. Enough to shake his hand. But the crowd he generated in less than a few minutes was incredible. He shook everyones hands, inlacing mine!!! But the way he worked the crowd was incredible. He definitely exuded charisma! He lived up too that charisma that everyone talked about! And the people were cheering including the fireman like it was a rock star or movie star!!! Yeah that was a memorable day! One I will never forget!

I think it would be interesting to see whether a wet noodle traveling through a normal atmosphere can achieve a lethal impact without being fragmented into a high-velocity paste by wind resistance. Even assuming we're talking about something like penne which is obviously more easily weaponized than say spaghetti.

Most of the state is impressively empty. I live in city sprawl now, and the idea that I could drive past buildings the whole time and end up in technically a different city felt flat-out disorienting for years. I miss the ability to walk out to an overlook near my house and just feel the emptiness hitting me, nothing but mesas for 30 miles until I saw a bit of Santa Fe on the horizon. Out here I have to go somewhere to be nowhere, and on a nice day everyone else has gone there too.

I would imagine that a wet noodle would break apart before it could go fast enough to be lethal. That or the impact at a speed where it could be lethal would cause it to disintegrate on the target causing minimal damage. At that point it would be like how fast could the disintegrated foam be lethal.

I have a feeling the wet noodle would lose all structural integrity well before even Mach 1. But the noodle matter itself would probably be lethal. Hell, the airflow of the cannon itself is probably lethal.
