I'm only 42 minutes in so I don't know if you discovered it already but pressing "x" when hovering an item in the menu brings up a lot more details about the item and usually some lore!
golden runes = runes in your inventory that you don't lose upon death. You can use them at shops when you are short on money. Might be a good idea to read up on some of the stuff you've picked up.
The only suggestion/advice you should take is to enjoy the game in your own way, taking your time to do whatever you feel like doing, and figure out how you want to approach it. You only get to experience it for the first time once. "Ok.. one more time!"

Just finished the watching and saw you make Alexander angry. NPCs in these games don't forget transgressions by themselves so he will be hostile next time you see him. Do not worry though, there is a way to reverse this a little later on at a certain church in the east part of a place called Liurnia. So if you come by Alexander again before that just avoid him. A bummer that it happened, it's all that stupid dragonfly's fault. So remember to look for a church in the eastern part of Liurnia when you find your way there! Super fun watching your playthrough!
Other people have said it in the comments but I just wanted to repeat, when you're looking at items in the inventory hit the x button for more details. When you open the map and the inventory read all of the options at the bottom there's more than you might think. Also, if you miss a tutorial pop-up, they are also in your inventory.
Happy to see you do a playthrough of Elden Ring, you're dong really well! I struggled a bit when I tried it as I haven't played many soulslikes. Very fun though! I always love your playthroughs, but I'm especially looking forward to following your adventures in Elden Ring!
11:41 Most skills will consume FP (your blue bar), so make sure you have enough before using the skill, otherwise it will barely do damage and will be less effective overall. A good way to be sure if you have enough FP is to look at the lower corner, if the skill's name (spinning slash) has a blue overlay and a line crossing it, then you don't have enough FP
ADVICE: Actively write down and take notes on places people tell you about, the names they say, locations you want to return to, etc. it will help you understand the game and allow you to enjoy it even more.

Welcome back! Nice to see you play some more Elden Ring! As a welcome to the game, here are a few general and spoiler-free tips to improve your experience. Some of these may be unnecessary, or known to you, or repeated ad nauseam, but I'll try to come up with a comprehensive list : - When talking to NPCs, make sure to exhaust their dialogue until they repeat themselves verbatim. Failing to do so may prevent you from advancing quests or having access to certain items. - When stuck at a boss, feel free to move away, grind a few levels (take advantage of the fact enemies respawn) and try again later. - Certain people view Fromsoft games as a challenge to overcome and b-line it from boss to boss, other view them as adventures to experience and take in the lore and environment. Most of the storyline in Elden Ring is obtuse by design, and expects the player to connect the dots by themselves. Should you care about it, know this, lore in Elden Ring is conveyed through item descriptions mostly. So read it all. From weapons, to clothing, to throwing pots, to flowers and plants, to rewards dropped by bosses, any and all items can potentially reveal a bit of lore to help you piece things together. It's a slow process, and as stated before, it is vague by design. Environmental storytelling (i.e. the world's design telling a story on its own) is also a thing; so enjoy the view, and take it all in, you might figure a couple things out. But if you invest, the revelations are worth the adventure. - There is no wrong way to play, don't hesitate to experiment with your items, crafting, equipment and weapons, and figure out what suits your play style the best. Anything you chose to do can work if you give it the time of day. - When in doubt as to where to invest your levels, go for vigor. Staying alive with a longer health bar means you can hit the bad guys for longer, it's that simple. - Don't listen to opinions as to what to do and how to play, everybody has an opinion. Just enjoy the ride, and remember that death is a part of the learning curve. - Liar ahead. - Treasure ahead. - Behold dog. Enjoy the ride ;-)
Amazing video, also if you jump and click Left button, you do a great level of damage and should even do some bleed with your curved swords, but you're already an amazing player. Brilliant start!
TIP: Put the video box that has you in it in the top right of the gameplay screen. That way when you’re in your inventory, we can see what you’re doing. (Nothing happens in the top right, so you’re not blocking anything anyways)
goated video u are rlly good at the game for a beginner, i suggest you invest levels into vigor, also across the map you will find churches of marika that have sacred tears, to upgrade the effectiveness of flask. Also Fia, the lady who hugs you, gave you a debuff on health, use the baladachin blessing to cure it. The Festival of Combat that Alexander mentioned is located in the red area on the map known as caelid. Also you can get Alexander to forgive you for slashing him, but its a bit more complicated
hello, best advice of the day : up your HP in priority, the game should be far easier after that :). First points in raising HP are the best, each time you up it, its gonna loose a little bit of value, but just 10 or 20 points in it will really really be strong to begin with
Great attempts, you just have to keep trying. Elden Ring is all about how many times you die until you learn the mechanics. Anyone who says they don’t die is lying-that’s what the game is about. If I can give you some advice, don’t do more than 2 combos during raids because they’ll counterattack, and you’ll lose more health in the process. Another tip is to study their attack patterns. Spend 1 or 2 lives just observing their mechanics so you can figure out how to dodge and when to land 1 or 2 hits before dodging again. Always keep your stamina bar at least half full so you can dodge when needed. And my last piece of advice: if you hit an enemy and barely deal any damage, run. You’re too underleveled to fight them. It’s a great way to gauge whether you can take them on or not.
