Marianne is incredibly sharp, honest, deep and thoughtful. I love Russell's style of interview and have come to admire him a great deal as well. One of the most intelligent wide-ranging interviews I have heard, perhaps ever. Thank you!
Russel did a good job and was well, Russel. Marianne, Yeah No. Marianne avoided answering almost every meaningful question given by quoting true intelligence and pandering to the audience. She actually said very little. A rose by any other name is still a Politician.
@@Anti_thesis I never feel her vibe. She says some true stuff, yet nothing much revelatory or unexpected and a lot of it quite limited in perception in my view. Her energy feels rather hard, stern, tense and self-righteous. Not warm. I don't think people can be truly wise and yet not warm, kind and relaxed. It's feels like she's focused on being perceived as intelligent and worthy and in control, as a woman in the face of the female negative stereotypes, rather than just opening her heart and soul genuinely, as a human being. She also presents a lot of questions and issues instead of providing answers. Also I attended an online seminar of her once and she was very angry and rigid and upset about professionals in the healing and spiritual growth field not following and teaching the course in miracles, claiming that is the only right way, instead of understanding everyone has a unique path that may be just as valuable and destined but different. Her energy was so heavy and bitter I had to end the call very early. It was the opposite of uplifting. I prefer people who have walked their path fully and come to their truths with openness from within rather than following something outside themselves in a rigid or attached way and be hug up on it, whatever it is, therefore not fully believing in themselves and life as a whole with ease or gentleness and humility.
I find it ridiculous, you may shrug it off, but you need to recognise its gravity first in order to do that, it's not desensitisation, it's a conscious choice.
Russell has a ‘brilliant mind’. It takes tremendous courage to be an authentic human being. Thank you both for having a fearless moral inventory. Marianne has heart AND guts!
“The era of data collection is over.” I feel that. For years, I’ve been listening to Louise Hay, Abraham Hicks, among others, and reading A Course in Miracles and Ernest Holmes and over the past couple months I felt myself saying, “I don’t need this anymore. I know what I’m supposed to do and how I’m supposed to think. Time to put that into action.” I am challenged, so I come back for reminders, but for the most part I’m good. Great talk. Thanks for uploading the full video. 🙏🏾
I'm pretty sure I've heard this before, i.e. before he went to the Luminary paywall. Great to see & hear it again. Amazing woman. Gotta check out her stuff.
Dickie Goodman if we can change the present status quo she would have a chance. Sadly the masses of people who are brainwashed to within an inch of their lives, aren't yet grown up enough to understand what she stands for.
Dickie Goodman .Yeaaah.Suuure ....She COULDNT Even see the Bigger picture...If Donald Trump wouldnt have become the President of USA....We would now had The Warmonger Hitlery Clinton in Power there...With full blown Wars with Russia...North Korea and Iran... I genuinely find it interesting that people hang their hats on ONE leader to ‘save’ us... ‘we need marianne as president’.... when in fact what she talks about in this interview is the very opposite of that idea. She says that small groups of people create massive change. She’s right. Everyone is still sat around waiting for one person to ‘fix’ everything. No one person should have that amount of control or burden. We don’t need a ‘woke’ leader to fix the world, we all need to wake up and be responsible for ourselves. How could one person possibly be held responsible for the behaviour of millions? That’s the fundamental problem.
I agree. The biggest problem we have right now, IMHO, is the fact that we've abdicated our responsibility to an individual or maybe even a group of individuals. Trump is president because he represents his base very, very well (unfortunately) and they are content to let him run amuck. By the same token, we have a legislative branch, comprised of both parties, neither of which seems willing or able to censure and sanction him for his misbehavior while the rest of us sit back, wait for somebody to do something and then get mad when nothing happens. I recall thinking when I learned that Trump had been elected that it might not be too terrible if he would select wise and qualified people for his cabinet and then actually listen to them. Pipe dreams, but that is what we need. Yes, we have a president, but that person needs to be humble and rely on the wise counsel of others. As long as you have a single person calling the shots, what we have now is what we'll get.
@@tallred67 President Trump mainly attacks those who attack him. If you think it's wrong for him to fight back when other people attack him, why don't you also address the bitter and hateful attacks that are constantly directed toward him?
@@tallred67 why censor the president? Because CNN said so? I appreciate his Moxy to call it out. He called out "the fed". Very interesting to see who opposed his candid statement, by doing so reveals who the reals snakes are.
A wise man once said that an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. You and I will disagree on who said what to whom first, but I think we can agree that the continual back-and-forth name-calling instead of working together to find a common middle-ground so change can happen is not going to get us anywhere but worse.
We have been waiting a long time for someone as strong as Marianne to take on the leadership of America. What a great place it will be when that happens. Tammy-Australia
She makes an excellent point that a spiritual life doesn't give us the excuse to stand outside of politics. I can own that I previously had that stance. I appreciate that she advocates for a functional spirituality that applies principles rather than escape. Steps to Knowledge (daily meditation) is one such ladder to access a deeper knowing, which can facilitate being in the world and becoming a discerning participant in the world.

It's funny how so many people have that perspective and then would laud someone like MLK whose spirituality drove his motivation for a deep fundamental reform of society.
When Marianne talks about showing up during your time of despair, she is offering wisdom. I can attest to this, having not shown up and also having shown up and in the showing up there is dignity which sparks a light that leads the path through time. Time heals.
jessie SX..... Great You see that point...The Cunt in the Studio there...Should Thank the Lord...Or whatever made up Religion She follows...For Donald Trump....If Donald Trump wouldnt have become the President of USA....We would now had The Warmonger Hitlery Clinton in Power there...With full blown Wars with Russia...North Korea and Iran...Without Him She would weap Even louder now...
Franklin Marichal True, it is quite the opposite of preserving an image, it is living while in pain from a source of misery which none are immune to. There is no glamour in depression of course, and the showing up is something to be grateful to do for someone else even while you may want to isolate as the course of misery passes through time. Accepting the pain, acknowledging it, while caring for oneself all the while and still maintaining the practice one has as spiritual foundation is not easy. It is easier to wallow, it is easier to find fault in oneself for the presumed idea that pain has a time frame. The “showing up” is a small gesture of community, which creates threads in a fabric and for a time allowing oneself to step outside of the narrowness of pain and beginning to feel a part of a larger thing outside of oneself is an exercise. Personally, when I showed up for someone else during my own suffering I was thankful to them for the experience even though on “appearances” it seemed I did them a favor, it was In fact quite the opposite, they did one for me by allowing me to do for them.
jessie SX I think what you are saying is a lot tbh to take in but the basic gist of it is that we all feel pain, we all need to allow ourselves to feel that pain in order to heal it by getting closer to it and not trying to escape from it and etc. Idk about communion and all that it’s all lost on me. I feel no sense of community perhaps because since I was young I’ve felt like I don’t belong. A wound that has showed up in all of my relationships and yet I yearn for it and don’t wish to isolate in order to escape from it.
jessie SX When I do for others when I am suffering it’s just me doing for them as a pretense to get from them but the activity of giving is a silent venture when you engage in it from a place of abundance. That being said you seem to know your stuff and your picture makes you look like you got your head in the stars not bad
“I’m just here to sing the song that I feel in my heart” - Marianne Williamson. Me too. And more and more people right across the globe are recognizing that that’s what we’re all here to do. Love you Marianne! Love you Russell! Love you, who is reading this now - yes, you! Love Everyone! ✨❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💖✨

Wow thanks for uploading the whole episode Russell Marianne Williamson does seem like a genuinely good person and it honestly annoys me that people try to paint her as woowoo or crazy when she's actually very intelligent
I can definitely hear her giving a State of the Union address... articulate and intelligent. Thank you Russell and Marianne for the exclamation point at the end of my day!
@Craft9841 there is no way to not make it appear sexist so I will just say it: she appeals almost entirely to women's mystical sensibility. Just look at the comments.
That old druggie heroin addict has a vocabulary more vast and a consciousness more deep than the likes of blokes that judge others from the shallow end of the kiddie pool. From suffering comes wisdom. Maybe that portion of the interview was lost on you.
Both you and Marianne both misunderstand what the hell embarrassment is and what it's for. You normally should both be embarrassed for rooting for such a stupid statement.
Let’s start by supporting Marianne Williamson for president. Please donate a $1 or more if you can so she can stay in the third debates and get her All the way to the White House. We can’t just hope, we got to get out and vote
I am so incredibly grateful to Russell for offering another platform for these people. He could be spending his time indulging himself like so many of us do. His role in the growth of consciousness is no accident!
Marianne is a gift to these political times. She walks her talk. Hopefully she will continue to speak at the next debate. Her commentary is valuable. The insight is deep!
I can only speak to my own experience, but traveling around (parts of the world) gave me great patience. Being in the third world should and does reunite you with the natural world, and changes your relationship to time. I realized this when I was standing in a que at a 7/11 in America, and the five or six people in front of me were having fits while the clerk changed his cash drawer. They were expressing so much anxiety. None of them said anything, but the fidgeting, the determination to make their unhappiness known was sad, and sickening. I was simply stunned. The clerk was very quick! Also every single person was reacting. This was before I came to Buddhism. Society has literally produced the slogan, “Think of Self, Forget All Else “ ( Chomsky, Manufacturing Consent ). Nobody was thinking about the pressure that they were unnecessarily putting on this 7/11 employee. So it is a sick society. The “stuff” inside Malls never ceased to amaze me, either. In any event, every time I walk outside I am simply dazzled by the beauty this Earth. We’re so fortunate to have consciousness to perceive it all!
I love this conversation. She spoke from a real and honest space. I really enjoy it. I agreed on everything she said. Ultimately to change we must ourselves.
This actually moved me to tears. Especially when she started talking about our lack of understanding of the past suffering of others, on how having something spiritual can move you to tears. Everything she says is so articulate and just makes me think so much. Although her becoming president is all but a dream, I just wish she was given more of a platform to talk.
She’s very bright and deep. The sad thing that most people won’t get her message because most people are so very closed minded but the worst thing is that they have no clue how closed minded they are. People need that deep spiritual connect that she talks about but it’s very difficult to get there because before you get their you have to have true compassion and respect for others. You have to get rid of the baggage and you have to open yourself up, which is very hard because most people are very guarded.
I do not see ANYONE held at gunpoint being forced to "shop". As a matter of fact, 99% of shoppers I see in malls buying their useless hoards are black Americans or foreigners (especially illegals). I don't shop & h/n been in a dept store for 2 years. I used to go to malls to "sightsee" but no longer bother with that. I see enough in a grocery store.
What could be better?? Actual Intelligence.. This woman is stuck in a Statist mind set when Statism or Nationalism IS the problem, and we will never get anywhere until people are willing to admit it..

John answered and said, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven. You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent before Him.’ He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled. 30 He must increase, but I must decrease. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all. And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony. He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true. For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand. He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
Marianne can bring people together because she is coming from a place of love. It’s very evident that she is smart and sees the big picture. I love that she acknowledges that there are many paths to God/love/citizenship/enlightenment etc. This is an outstanding quality in any human being and this is why she will make a great and effective leader.
The love for Satan/Lucifer is as genuine as the love for enlightenment but the outcomes are very different. Do not confuse the two. Satanic forces are now controlling many politicians, entertainers and other people in high positions. Do not be naive and assume love is always elevating and good. It can come from a very dark place with negative intend. We do not need that. We need efficient and ethical people who are experts at what they do. To fool the masses should not be the goal.
Oh, so being human is not ethnically neutral. You're foolish. There was a long period where race and ethnicity was a non issue in America at least. The words of Dr. King rang clear and children understood, character and not color. Unfortunately it was not very profitable, for those that needed votes and those that chose to be victims of a system they would create. Now America is racists for things that happened 100s of years ago while open slave markets thrive in North and West Africa unhindered or mentioned by those that cant profit or be victims of it. A tragedy to be sure, and one history can't possibly gloss over. The future will see this as the most entitled and privileged self described "persecuted" people of all time. That is the true "zeitgeist of this moment".
This was a joy to watch. See how comfortable Russell was being vulnerable around her? This woman ya'll. I know Mr. Brand is usually quite honest and genuine but everyone I've watched interview Marianne gets caught in her orbit and seem to have to remind themselves that cameras are on. This was no different. I _yearn_ to see her sit across from world leaders and melt away their tough facades using nothing but that maternal love she resonates so effortlessly.
Except she IS ONE. COGNITIVIE DISSONANCE IS A HELLUVA DRUG. She has some pretty serious character defects. She spends too much time fixating on everyone else's. She needs to take some personal inventory.
@Cody Bryson being a cultural-appropriating sociopath who profits off of a culture from a group of people still battling active genocide, while running her mouth about how much she "cares" about human and civil rights and equality isn't a "flaw". It's willful detriment. ALL her chatter on here is stolen from the hard work of a lot of us indigenous Americans. What she is doing here is called "virtue signaling". Google it. Something tells me you haven't been around many of us indigenous or other women who aren't from the white chick world... Becky-s, Karen-s, and Marianne-s....
@Mm Mmm Nothing 'positive' about hearing a song sung by a false (g)od. As you were though. Make up your own tunes and sing them all the way to your own destruction - don't mind me ...
She is not ego driven or arrogant. She is confident and pissed off. Trump is ego ! Imagine if she is president. The changes she could make.I'm Canadian but I want to see her as President and have it trickle down and through my country. Trump is effecting Canada sadly. This woman is so spiritual and articulate and wise. She would never mess up the way Trump does. I'm 100 percent on board for her to be the change that's needed
Sandy chanting so so true! i feel the same and i am from germany. trump is pure ego and causing sooo much trauma and harm. unfortunately cant vote obviously but i donated to her campaign. maybe thats something you would like to consider as well :)
Sandy chanting Trump is a game changer. His job is to drag the dark kicking and screaming into the light. He's doing that. He needs an ego to drag the swampy paedos into the light. The plan is on track. You can't have someone like Marianne until the swamp is cleared. You can't have someone like Marianne until humans grow up and act with responsibility. Marianne is being very careful with her words. If she told the baby humans the real truth, they'd be in the corner sucking their thumbs.
Thank you so much for airing the full episode. I've been waiting to watch it. The Course in Miracles and Marianne's book, Return to Love answered so many questions for me. I believe that together we can bring about the sociopolitical changes we need to make, and that you, Marianne, and others like you can help us get there. sooner rather than later. Thanks again.
She’s absolutely right there was a time....and that is why I am optimistic because I still remember that time. We can have it again but we have to be willing to fight for what’s right. Some people say that I am naive but I also say “I am not naive I just believe in the power of good people and I am also not cynical”.
'that time' being the Hippie years? When the Marxist ideas against family led to the greatest unraveling of society we have ever seen? Thank God, some of us are recovering from the destruction of those years.
Emma actually the time when people were actually civil and respectful towards each other, that time. A time when people used work for a company their whole life because employers actually gave a shit about their employees. A time when a higher education was actually affordable and a time when you didn’t go bankrupt because you got sick. That time.
So powerful at the end there. Being honest about our agony and recognizing it so that we actually do empathize with others. She's completely right. It is absolutely insane how we dismiss the suffering of others outside of our immediate circle and seem unphased by it.
Love the tailor made strength of this woman. Its very special and unique with an edge. I don't see her winning overall. She so deserves a place in the cabinet. Her elements of what she brings will bring a balance of what we have missing in our leadership. Her energy is full of genuine compassion for the love of ppl and their state of mind. Which is very important thing to myself. She is one I'd like to see win and if she doesn't least a position in the White House.
Lashaw Love ❤️She can do much to help this world. Marianne Being president would be the beginning of a saner world, but I do not know if this could be a possibility so quickly. My husband heard her talk not knowing who she was and said to me “ you need to watch her. You will like her. “ A return to sanity would be great.

I wouldn't say it is out there or any of that sort to be spiritually minded and focused for it isn't so. It may appear though that it is for any and every one individual of which have not for any and every reason due to and thanks to our society-driven machinery that of which have been sketched, made up. Has built over a period of several decades now to see 'society' as is. To meet us all here at this hour, approximitily to the designs of the blueprint and the follow-up methodics (the touches) made by, for and as well of this whole established '' Pyramid- Inc. '' est. By that this has reached a clinical-critical point where of the we (the people) A Few, and still growing day by day, some of are all groomed prepared and ready to finally see A'yin to Eye sort of speak. Where amongst one has to be of this certain (proplexialty) specialty to be a contander Of The People For The People to be of aid and REAL assistance to and for the people of which one have got to self be a part. This direction of view though is something all of us are, atleast more of us are moving towards and inwards. Soon to bee boosting, booming ahead forwards. (Time to lit the torches?) I personally liked what the lady had to say and she she answered very much great to satisfaction one must say. Only one/1 problem I personally noticed were where she mentioned Hillary as to where she spoke on votes she was not favoured championed as to where she apparently should've been If to believe the mentioned hype above. Problem is in that case as, and in any case, what about Bernie Sanders which really without any reasonable doubt were cheated for votes....??? If to be so rightoues and spiritually inclined, then one really were only to be right to have mentioned this in her presented speech back to Russell's... Sure but.. Anybody can forget minor details in an otherwise great interview.
Anyhow it is problematic for anyone president to do what you wanna do No matter how much one wants to do and she never mentioned or got to mention how that would work in effect. You will need to go as Bernie Sanders have to change up big time to turn the politics around and get shit done for the people of the nation. Dunno' how much he means either. It is hard to trust any politician but he sure looks like a like he means it. He is by far the best standing presidential candidate I mean. We know him better but if this lady is real she sure can make a good candidate. She has a tone I wich makes me a bit uneasy but that is probably my own problem and not something she is likely to help. At the same time, I liked her. I Hope she just isn't found to fit in with the changing times. To fit the paradigm..
Marianne is the warm, wise hug those of us in sobering times need. I'm so appreciative that she acknowledged us that have fought a type of depression since Nov 2015. The shock was equivalent to trauma. Instead of belittling or dismissing it she shined a light on it...because it's real. She's real. Russell is real. I love them.

Well worth the watch. The end is the meat because her voice moves from conversational to preacher/teacher and that vertical power that she spoke of earlier is demonstrated. Way to "grab the mic."
@Clarence Boddicker EXACTLY! And furthermore, while she is inspirational and wise, and I have great respect for her knowledge, she is not presidential in my most humble opinion. She sings a nice song, but in reality doesn't have the solid fortitude needed to run a country, let alone fact that she'd be run over and squashed like a Mack truck by rulers of other countries in a heartbeat. And @Clarence Boddicker your rude comments are part of what we battle these days....omg, how crude...tossing mean and nasty like it's your right when you don't have a true clue - who made you judge and jury? lol
@Clarence Boddicker I know, they are perfectly happy letting 30% of the people paying for the 70% that do not contribute, I like the focus on spirit but her political agenda sounds like minority pandering, again...if we dont have borders we don't have a country, that means any agreements made in the past, treaties, minority moneys, taxes will have to be abolished or reamped. What is her view on the constitution?
Thank you Russel for sharing this interview. America needs MARIANNE WILLIAMSON as President. You have given her a platform I was looking for, so intellectually stimulating and profound. Let’s Rise up our human consciousness in unity
We are individals in the human collective. We have to work toward the greater good of the collective (human race and other species on Earth). Money is not God.
If money is not God then why are these illegals invading us in search of the "American dream" aka $$$? I don't understand WHY illegals want to invade us when they are unwelcome due to overcrowding & being tax burdens. Today, America is a very dangerous country. I w/n continue to live here if I was young enough to relocate.
At the end Russell talks about how to scale up compassionate awareness as the driving force in the human way of life. He also earlier mentioned the need to overcome the primacy of economics. This is where I think people like him and Marianne Williamson need to consider how the entire societal scheme of life, from interpersonal and group relations to values, political priorities and the general view of a person's role as a citizen, is substantively derived from the nature of the fundamental economic premise. If you want to produce different social values and behaviors you have to provide structural reinforcement for those values and behaviors; and as long as people live in an environment where ubiquitous scarcity dictates all of their relations with the world it makes no sense to just tell them to have more sustainable values. That is not going to happen when people's quality of life is largely dependent on their success in the marketplace. Moreover, at this time, the economic health of a society is outright dependent on maximizing consumption among its population, so an overall culture of minimal consumption is simply not viable in the present economic context. Therefore, the key to getting humanity to live in accordance with the requirements of sustainability dictated by nature and the ethical values that Russell and Marianne talk about is to institute a fundamentally different economic premise which is not intrinsically dependent on ubiquitous scarcity, and hence does not structurally precipitate an environment of adversarial interests, economic and social stratification, pervasive necessitation of secrecy, and the conflation of human needs and wants which is integral to stimulating consumption. This alternative economic model would be able to _structurally_ prioritize sustainability, have an egalitarian social structure with actually transparent government, and provide for the basic needs of literally everyone without qualification due to the universal favoring of technically optimized automation at the expense of human labor requirements throughout the edifice of economy; All things which are inherently impossible to achieve within the framework of a market economy. Such a system is technically possible with existing technology. The obstacle to this being realized is the general lack of awareness and the exclusionary, self-maximizing ethos which is naturally generated by the market system and further cultivated by sheer economic propaganda. I think the best current proponent of this kind of vision is Peter Joseph of the Zeitgeist Movement. I really wish someone like Russell Brand would start exploring this idea and maybe have Peter on to discuss this very comprehensive view on economics and societal dynamics in detail. The implications of it are immense. You could potentially overcome the "perverse incentives" of businesses destroying the environment and deceiving people while colluding with government, the grotesquely unequal distribution of resources that we are supposed to regard as "normal," the looming threat of catastrophically destructive world war, and even the economic seeding of group-based antagonism which currently fertilizes the soil for all kinds of divisive ideologies to grow, whether they are based on religion, gender, race or nationalism. These are not all isolated problems that exist independently of any deeper circumstances. All these problems have to be addressed at the most basic level, and that is what this idea provides for. If anyone is interested in what Peter Joseph is about, his video "Three Questions" is a good introduction: th-cam.com/video/6xGyKuyGhaE/w-d-xo.html

There are so many things unfolding as we speak.
I’ve been listening to Marianne since she started to speak publicly. And now since the lockdowns Russell. He has so many mind bending conversations with so many intellects, it’s been a trip being a fly on the wall.

Its such a simple understanding to treat others as you would want to be treated. And so there's no difference to me between an animal's suffering and a human's suffering. Its equal. They are both Just as valued and deserving of Love as the other in my experience. To respect and See animals for the feeling, thinking divine Beings that they are.. is a Revolution in itself.🔥❤

But I went with the crowd and had a good laugh when I heard Marianne running and her talking of love and what not despite that is exactly what my school of Taoism enacts via leadership in Tao Te Ching. I just want to say a huge respect to Russell because he is not afraid to take on guests like Rupert Sheldrake or herself, or say come in defense of Kanye instead of pandering to vox populi as most of these current mainstream people would. THAT... that acceptance in my opinion is a hallmark of enlightenment.

You could potentially overcome the "perverse incentives" of businesses destroying the environment and deceiving people while colluding with government, the grotesquely unequal distribution of resources that we are supposed to regard as "normal," the looming threat of catastrophically destructive world war, and even the economic seeding of group-based antagonism which currently fertilizes the soil for all kinds of chauvinistic and divisive ideologies to grow, whether they are based on religion, gender, race or nationalism.

REALLY?! Marianne Williamson? On your show?! That's bloody AMAZING!!!❤️❤️❤️ Can't get the luminary here in Germany😥 Tell them to change that, please! 🙏 I love your content and enjoyed the podcast with Byron Katie a LOT! Thank you!❤️
@@morganalee963 Look at your own disrespectful attitude... your acting like a neanderthal! Maybe you need to work a 12 step program!!! You really don't have any love and understanding in your heart... or do you???
Keto is the opposite of what Marianne stands for. It's an unnatural emergency state of the body. Abundance is fruit, the one food God made solely for eating. Fruit is carbs. Carbs is life. And I wasn't surprised that Marianne has spoke about fruit (and other raw plants) as whats missing in people's diets.
Vegan diets don't cause cancer. Working around computers before safty standards for radiation were set, CAN cause cancer. There are no keto dieters over 60. There's many vegans over 90.
@@GaryHighFruit I can appreciate your comments, and I love fruit and veg; however, the KETO diet works for many where all those carb-filled diets do not -- and many have lost great amounts of weight-- fact, not fiction. I myself have lost over 50 pounds, and my son lost 60 pounds just by changing what we eat regularly. Also I, myself, AM over 60 years of age so that blows your first comment out of the water... lol And I know a woman who is NOT a vegan and she just turned 102 years on July 18. So sorry to say your theories aren't quite accurate, and surely you do not have blood sugar/insulin issues but KETO totally helps many who do. Please research and you'll be amazed. I used to think like you too but kept gaining on the high carbs. :) xo 💚💙💜
President Trump was voted in because as a society it was needed to see how sick our society has become, he is a mirror held up for us to see our own deep rooted prejudices and now how are we going to do something different.?
Marianne Williamson is a brilliant, wonderful human being with a huge and kind heart. Russell Brand, you are such a gentleman, a great role model for young men.
Best interview I've heard all year and so poignant too. After this video I see her in a different light, not only is she a remarkable person and awesome spiritual being emanating kindness and love, but she also feels like its her cross to bear to help people help themselves. I too feel this inside but instead of despairing like the rest of us she has a incredible resilience and unbelievable faith in mankind. Like she said Russell, you keep doing you and the universe will work (is working) through you in all of its mysterious ways.
God is Being itself, not a being. There can be no subject-object relationship here, no duality, no you and God. Your innermost sense of self, of who you are, is inseparable from stillness. This is the “I Am” that is deeper than name and form." - Eckhart Tolle

I'm happy to hear she's down from needing 40,000 from July 31st to 20,000. Someone on another video suggested I donate $5 and refer five friends which was a fantastic idea and I'm happy to say I did!
The questions you asked her about clarifying to the mainstream are the exact things I've been wondering in my social media posting in the past few days. I worry that people will ignore the spiritual things I say as silly. I think you are a really good segway for people.
Chicago Touch I believe Bernie has had similar “awakening” experiences to Marianne. He’s just channelled them through politics rather than spiritual leadership.
Andrew has the intelligence and technological foresight to move us forward! Elizabeth has the economic grip and scholarly wisdom to traverse our bureaucratic battles! Bernie has the conviction and bravery to fight for the American people since day 1 even when no one else stood with him! Marianne has the fiery heart and soul of america, and its spirit to heal its historic and moral ills! All great candidates. We were robbed by the establishment!1
I love the Course. I’m pretty sure it’s non-dualism. Good work Russell on calling out latent nationalism, good work Marianne generally. Let us not squander the hour of our pain. Beautiful. We can’t focus on the resurrection while ignoring the crucifixion. Gold.

In ten years' time, this pompous self-absorbed turd will either be dead or in some kind of home. Of the options offered, I have a preference.
"If I desensitize myself to my own suffering, I am more likely to be insensitive to the suffering of others." Ouch.
This is a great observation.

Beautifully stated Tegan.
@@tallred67 President Trump mainly attacks those who attack him. If you think it's wrong for him to fight back when other people attack him, why don't you also address the bitter and hateful attacks that are constantly directed toward him?

A wise man once said that an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. She makes an excellent point that a spiritual life doesn't give us the excuse to stand outside of politics. I can own that I previously had that stance. I appreciate that she advocates for a functional spirituality that applies principles rather than escape. Steps to Knowledge (daily meditation) is one such ladder to access a deeper knowing, which can facilitate being in the world and becoming a discerning participant in the world.

jessie SX Has nothing to do with preserving your image in any way but rather just emotional Vipassana or being there for yourself
Franklin Marichal
True, it is quite the opposite of preserving an image, it is living while in pain from a source of misery which none are immune to.

@Calvin U only people with low self-esteem need to put others down
@Calvin U yeah keep laughing at yourself.
I can only speak to my own experience, but traveling around (parts of the world) gave me great patience.
Being in the third world should and does reunite you with the natural world, and changes your relationship to
time. I realized this when I was standing in a que at a 7/11 in America, and the five or six people in front of me
were having fits while the clerk changed his cash drawer.
They were expressing so much anxiety. None of them said anything, but the fidgeting, the determination to make
their unhappiness known was sad, and sickening. I was simply stunned. The clerk was very quick! Also every single
person was reacting. This was before I came to Buddhism. Society has literally produced the slogan, “Think of Self,
Forget All Else “ ( Chomsky, Manufacturing Consent ).
You have to get rid of the baggage and you have to open yourself up, which is very hard because most people are very guarded.

what love ? the love for Lucifer or Satan ? just wondering........
@Calvin U you are right on ! I can feel her negative energy coming from the TV screen.
She is on the ball!
There is no such thing as being ethically neutral. No such thing.

Something tells me you haven't been around many of us indigenous or other women who aren't from the white chick world... Becky-s, Karen-s, and Marianne-s....

And if the song that you feel is the wrong song???

@Mm Mmm Nothing 'positive' about hearing a song sung by a false (g)od.
As you were though. Make up your own tunes and sing them all the way to your own destruction - don't mind me ...
@Mm Mmm By the way. You do know that Russell Brand is a member of the Fabian society, right?
Do you know what they believe and promote?
@Not Edward Snowden Seems to be a pretty good time to be a criminal now, no? You even have a felon in the white house.
Ray of Light elaborate on the real truth
@Not Edward Snowden Seriously? Do you know anything about his campaign? At all?
Wow!! What an INCREDIBLE, INTELLIGENT, INSPIRATIONAL woman.
Brilliant systems thinking @russell brand!
You are easily fooled
she is clever.
Hands to this lady for daring to be so honest.
Her passion is the validity and the force to push others to question their negative thinking excellent guest
Read a book idiots.
God I love her! Praying more people will open their eyes, minds and hearts to hear her message.
Mate you have come a long way since your Big Brother days. I enjoyed this discussion and I learned so much about Marianne Williamson.
@@jaiapeace7992 She has good qualities, but we are hiring a person for a job and I don't see her resume lining up with the tasks of the job of POTUS. Please learn about Tulsi Gabbard. Go to her TH-cam and Tusli2020.com. To know her is to love her. She is most qualified through her experience to include combat veteran and she is 16 years in army national guard and a major. She is also a practicing Hindu and surfer. She has been a Congresswoman for almost 7 years and on foreign affairs committees for quite some time. She is not of the establishment and exposes the dems for who they are. She is amazing. It's those things and her personal qualities required to be Commander in Chief makes her a sure win. Not even thinking of Trump. The facts and truth she speaks takes people down. Like she did Harris. Imagine her taking Trump down on stage. She's a sure win.
Sandra yes I have been following Tulsi. It will take us the people also I feel. We can not sit idle and not hold those in power accountable for all their wrong doing. New values need to happen in this narcissistic society is has become. Being older I have seen such a charge in society. But I have hope! Thank you fro commenting ❤️
Marianne is not a crazy fairy lady like the media would like you to think she is a very intelligent woman and yes she can get pretty out there on the spiritualism but she roots it in reality.
Jeremy Kimble jessie SX..... Really...The Cunt in the Studio there...Should Thank the Lord...Or whatever made up Religion She follows...For Donald Trump....If Donald Trump wouldnt have become the President of USA....We would now had The Warmonger Hitlery Clinton in Power there...With full blown Wars with Russia...North Korea and Iran...Without Him She would weap Even louder now...
@@eetunimee3883 Too bad you cannot present your point which may have some real validity without the hatefulness.

Great interview Russell! Thank you for having Marianne on your show.
I absolutely adore her and I am so glad you interviewed her. She's so real and vulnerable. I love how she doesn't pretend to be perfect.
I was so surprised to see this pop up I’m actually so happy 😊

@Clarence Boddicker EXACTLY! And furthermore, while she is inspirational and wise, and I have great respect for her knowledge, she is not presidential in my most humble opinion. She sings a nice song, but in reality doesn't have the solid fortitude needed to run a country, let alone fact that she'd be run over and squashed like a Mack truck by rulers of other countries in a heartbeat. And @Clarence Boddicker your rude comments are part of what we battle these days....omg, how crude...tossing mean and nasty like it's your right when you don't have a true clue - who made you judge and jury? lol
@@ketointhekitchenwithpat what do you know of her fortitude or lack there of?
@Clarence Boddicker I know, they are perfectly happy letting 30% of the people paying for the 70% that do not contribute, I like the focus on spirit but her political agenda sounds like minority pandering, again...if we dont have borders we don't have a country, that means any agreements made in the past, treaties, minority moneys, taxes will have to be abolished or reamped. What is her view on the constitution?
Thanks for posting the whole episode.
Thank you Russel for sharing this interview.
America needs MARIANNE WILLIAMSON as President. You have given her a platform I was looking for, so intellectually stimulating and profound. Let’s Rise up our human consciousness in unity
Just wow, she speaks TRUTH. I'll devote more time to spreading these messages. BRAVO Russell!

I am vegan because i love animals SO Much. I would never want them to hurt or suffer because of me. In the same way I don't ever want to hurt me again either.

I just want to say a huge respect to Russell because he is not afraid to take on guests like Rupert Sheldrake or herself, or say come in defense of Kanye instead of pandering to vox populi as most of these current mainstream people would.
