Reading the user's guide or owners manual is definitely very important. I was looking at a full-size systembuild yesterday. I wanted to see what the capabilities were of the balls-to-the-wall insane $2,000 motherboard only to find out that you can't use half of the stuff because if you have a hard drives or a certain number of ssds or use different pcie slots in a bunch of things become disabled. I'm looking at this motherboard for an ITX build and definitely reading the manual is a good thing because I found out that one of the SATA ports gets disable depending on what type of drive you put in the computer

So how do you like this board by now? 3 months in it's awesome, but it's my 1st ITX so can only compare to old X99-M WS mATX. It gets warm so it's better suited for forced down air cooling. Using a Noctua NH-U12DX (i-115x kit) and not enough air moving down below still. I tried left to right 1st over VRM and chipset/M.2 stacks. 2x M.2 on top of already warm Z590 chip get warm. I haven't heard the I/O fan kick in yet.
Looks good, too bad it's pricey and they don't offer a similarly designed ITX board for AM4. It would also be nice if they added a usb thumb drive with the drivers on it instead of the cd disc that may go unused.
I have a B360-I Gaming. I'm happy with that for a while.y only complaint with ITX boards is there are not enough chassis fan headers. I can connect at least 4 chassis fans in my ITX case not counting the two CPU fans.
Can you run 3 monitors from this, say 1 thru HDMI and 2 thru the Thunderbolt with an adapter, or 1 each on HDMI, USB C, and Thunderbolt? UHD 750 does support 3 monitors. There is no info in the manual regarding monitor support.
I have z490i problem with these boards is nvme stack over chipset and can get pretty hot. Still with in Safe zone but idle 60c max 70c. There's actually lower nvme temps. Hidden nvme idle.timeout setting in Windows you need use program called powersettings explorer to unlock and enable primary and secondary nvme idk timeout. I've been using it for a while now and it works great. This has no effect on performance just lower temp when idle.
No optical audio and so few USB. Feels like a downgrade from my ROG Strix Z270-I. Super disappointing. Need to find a good Z590 ITX board with better features.
You don’t need z590 anymore..OC is dead. No need to get this really expebsive board. You can get asus b560-i for just 150..b560 chipset now allow xmp OC.
How can I POST to set up BIOS to boot to my Apple Thunderbolt Display (TB2 to 3 adapter)? I can't even post w/ my Apple Cinema LED w/ Mini DisplayPort to USB-C adapter. What setting do I need? I had to use my huge 30" Apple Cinema Display w/ DVI-D to HDMI just to post into BIOS. Oh ya, just basic set up w/ Intel i9-10850 I-GPU. Shouldn't the TB4/ USB-C port passthrough display?

Is it just me or does the z590 seem dead in the water already? Intel's new socket is due soon with a truly new design, so to me, I just don't see a point in buying a z590 MB with a i11 series CPU. Thoughts anyone?

Not sure what I am doing wrong but the M2 SSD simply does not show up on my system at all, even though it appears to be connected as it should be. :/
