I'm excited for you. Recently got into the hobby , with a Ranger 1220. Boy is it a blast ! I just need a little more practice with something like this. It's harder than it looks , especially if there is obstacles. Thank you for the video Sir.
I have this very plane great beginner plane my first flight ever had the controller in expert mode made a soft landing in a pine tree after about 30seconds got it out re read the instructions and flew it for another 30 minutes would recommend.

great video for the beginner. which is me. have boats and cars. leery of flying. looking at drones too. not so intimidated now of flyiong when i see it can be done. lots of space. like anything first flight jitters out of the way and then fun. so you crash. that's life. thanks.

Liked the control demo. Seems simple. Did you start with a simulator? Looking at the RF 9.5. Not the 9.5s b/c it is a one time activation. If your computer goes bad its gone... from what HH tells me.
Late comment but just fyi, if you buy it on steam it stays with your account, so you can use it on as many computers as you'd like. The same with the upcoming RealFlight Evolution.
You didn't check CG or flight surfaces before take off.
