Loved the video and history you provided. US Marine Corps 1988-1994, disabled Vet and retired Police Detective! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you. I had so much planned while I was living in Hawaii. Unfortunately, COVID and my recent illness derailed some of my planned adventures. However, all is not lost. There is still so much to see and do on the mainland.

Great video. I was stationed there and lived in the dorms on Pearl Harbor for a year, but I never made it to Ford Island. I kept hearing about it and was curious about it, but I never got the chance to go there. Thank you for the tour.

You're welcome, Stephanie. Ford Island has changed so much over the years. However, I am glad they preserved some of the artifacts for us view and understand. If you ever make it back to Hawaii make sure you visit. You just might enjoy it! Thanks for watching ❤️

2000 to 2007. Enlisted barracks near Sea Wolf tower. Then the boat. Then Ford Island barracks. Got lit at the top of the flight tower. Then got a single room at ft . Shafter. Boat is at Hickam. For the last 2 I lived on the boat. A fantastic run in Hawaii.
By the way I was in the Army ;)

Hey, Noah! Unfortunately, no. Not without a military ID or contractors permit. However, you can still visit Ford Island by way of a shuttle bus that will escort visitors from the Visitor Center every 15 minutes. If you have a friend or family member in the military, then there might be a chance that you could be escorted onto Ford Island with your civilian ID. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. ❤️
