Ok, so hear me out. I threw this idea out on the subreddit and it got better reception than I figured it would.
Daisen, Space Fishy, Autobot Bumblebee and Rizzo as inspirations. Subsurface Venture, Look at me now, Back in stock (or really your choice in 3rd), Breakneck Speed, and Give Me Speed.
You have nearly permanent speed boost at just over 40knts, with competitive torpedoes. Maybe not the most effective build, but man I would really love to try it if I had the steel.

Unless my math is off (not the first time), you would have a 78.4s duration speed boost with an only 7.7s cooldown, with 8 charges. Her torpedoes would also go 75 knots, reloading in 120 seconds.
Edit: That of course assumes all 3 commanders are 16/L4
Edit2: looks like my math isn't the only thing that's off sometimes.

All I’m gonna say is Radar. A BB no longer being 100% dependent on screening vessels will show those OP DD’s
You neglected the Dison's ridiculous torp protection.
I would purchase the Missouri simply for the historical significance. Additionally, my grandfather served on her during WWII. She being really good is just icing on the cake.
I just recently saved enough steel to purchase the Missouri. I love it! One of my favourite tier VII’s. Guns are amazing and hit really hard. It also has a wicked radar 9.5km for 35 seconds. You can really turn the tide of a game with this thing!

Mmmm, what a timing. I just reeled in Salem this morning. 🤗 After spending most of my 30k steel for moduls, I was finally back at 25k. 🤪 Expectations are high, though… 25k steel for a single boat is pretty friggin‘ hefty. 😂

Don't have any of these, so i appreciate vids like this. Lets me decide if i would spend that kind of steel on a boat. If i did, Misery gets my steel for historical relevance.

I know Nagato has 2.0 and is still very inconsistent.
I'm addicted to using steel for the main or secondary gun upgrades which I've enjoyed.
When I'm done with that venture, which will be soon, I'll probably save up for the Missouri because of its historical significance and also that it's an Iowa-class battleship with radar.
What I don't get is why the Missouri has the same camo as Iowa. That's kinda lazy on Wargaming's part. It should have its own historical camo.
For sure! At a certain point tho, a person has to ask: how many more modules do I really need, or am I just being lazy 😆

Anyways I have Missouri and I still prefer massa but it’s really fun to play at times with that radar

1: Missouri 2: Salem 3 Daisen 4: Murmansk in that order(Unless clubbing beginners in T4 is your preference then to each their own). You forgot to mention Missouri's belt is significantly better compared to Iowa's 25mm. Bought Missouri when she was the only high tier steel and best purchase. Having the ability to radar in a BB at your discretion and not rely on the blueberries is game changing. My only issue with Missouri is i wish it had its original sigma value of 1.9 off PC and not its 1.8 here.

Still have trouble deciding between Salem and Missouri. I'm at 19k steel and I like both of these ships but can't decide. I enjoy playing tulsa, des moines and I have New Jersey, Massachusetts. What's the best thing to do, of course with Missouri I get a lot of credits
You can credit farm just as well with any other T7 premium BB, I suppose. So if you have of a bunch of American premium BBs it's fine
It's tough. I ended up choosing MO for her historical value, couldn't decide otherwise lol
I would say none of the high tier steel ships are worth it. unless you really have the means then go ahead but getting all of your slot 4s upgraded on the ships you like is the priority.
I want more low tier steel ships. T-3 through T-6
we still don't have a Revenge class British BB. it could fit in at T-4
I guess to each their own. I haven't played anything lower than T7 in hundreds of games
I didnt obtain any steel ship for now I m interested in Salem/ Missouri which one first I think the T7 Battleship with Radar will be for me.

I’ve been playing this game for 5 years and I’m just starting to get to the point where I can afford one of these boats (ok, except the Murmansk because who cares), so this comes at a great time. Unfortunately, I’m no closer to deciding whether I should pull the trigger on the Mighty Mo or save up for Salem, now. Gah!

The Japanese dispersion is a bit of a misnomer. You forgot the very important part of it being ~relative to other nations~ because the Japanese dispersion is still wider at longer ranges in the traditional sense, it's just that the base radius is larger with a much slower "bloom" as it goes out.
Basically ~relative to other nations~ it's close range dispersion is worse, and ~relative to other nations~ the long range dispersion is better than the close range.

Does the Missouri have better credit earning ability than other tier 7s
I'm unsure on that. I'd say it's about the same (not Like the OG PC Missouri). If you go look at damage records. Insane games in Constellation and other premium T7 BBs net you just as good of credits

Don't slander Murmansk like that lol, almost 18km range if you build for it, 3.8s rudder, and Marble torps with actual kick is absolutely hilarious at low tier.
I mean I'm sure it's great and all lol but I just don't see the fun in spamming T4 as an experienced player. Just my humble opinion

Missouri over Salem bc T7 being a credit earner. 1: Missouri. 2: Salem. In that order.
Depends what you want it for, for sure, and lots of factors like what other premiums you have at each tier.
Credit farming Mighty MO for sure.
If you want a competitive T8 and enjoy that tier, Salem is likely the best Prem cruiser at the tier. Can give LT a run for their money, easy.

Still salty about the fact I paid 25k for Mighty Mo and then Wargaming said "F U" to early player base and only gave a refund of steel to those that got Mighty Mo within 3 months of the price change. Salem took a long time to get after that spite from WG. Don't think I will get Daisen.

17.5k steel which takes a lifetime to get just for a radar on a tech tree clone... versus a ton of purple/gold mods. Unless you're somehow sitting on like 30k steel, easy pass on that ship, even if you're not like me with Mass, Mass B, Georgia, and Georgia W...
Well you would have 17.5k steel if you weren't slapping upgraded mods on ships you rarely use or don't need it. The notion that Missouri is a tech tree clone when you just named two premium clones is hilarious. Better Alpha, better belt, and ofc radar. You pass on a ship that can easily carry a side and once you get spoiled by that 35s 9.5km radar. Suddenly Georgia, Bama, and Massa aren't it when you have a radar at your disposal when you need it instead of relying on people who aren't your div mates to radar.
How many mods does a person need? 🤔😆
And "just" a radar....it is arguably the most powerful consumable in the game. But like mentioned at the start, this is just one man's opinion. 👍

Disagree. Ramming is a valid "high risk, high reward" tactic, that just happens to mostly be used by people who are bad at math.
No high health ramming is cowardly.... low health ramming is strategic and sacrificial for the good of the team

Yeah Murmansk is awful it’s literally a Russian Omaha Salem is very good Daisen is okay Missouri is my golden girl got her June of last year and she’s insane
