I really enjoyed the slower releases from before with the high quality, but I gotta' say - you folks have been doing well in the new format. Siggy (ziggy? - you know, the DOCTOR) does great. It also seems like you figured out the camera issues (or just stopped cutting to a side-by-side view of each of you as much). Edit: You'll figure out the other bugs as you go, such as the shift in sound at 32 mins.
I think the last video I watched with both Tasteless and Artosis casting was Flash vs. Jaedong in the MSL finals back in 2010 or 2011. It's great seeing both of you and both of them still going strong.
Artosis's audio going to space around 32:00 to avoid dmca takedown for the player intro song. I guess they had issues with the rights for that one and just extracted caster audio to prevent a full mute.
I can tell you . Watching bot nyoken-gypsy and tastosis shows how we all see based on our bias. You're absolutely right! It's easy to notice the contrast in these side by side ASL uploads, but every single caster is going to bring their own unique perspective or bias in observations. In Artosis' case he seems impressively on point and objective as a caster, but we all have our good and bad days. And I've noticed Artosis usually corrects mistakes he made during a cast in the following upload
Really looking forward to this season of ASL. For around the first half of the video, the audio was not quite balanced with Tasteless' a bit louder and in general his sound not quite balanced as well. Small things though, as always enjoyable casting.
regarding audio: Tasteless i a little bit too loud, and game volomue could be louder too. It makes the cast seem a bit seperated from the game, when game volumue is not correctly mixed.
Some sound issues in this video. At the very start where Tasteless was robot for a few seconds. Then around 31:57 to 32:48 or so the volume is weirdly low.
What are you on about? He didn't even see the bust coming. How he's supposed to "Build a gateway", which wouldn't even protect the cannons by the way if he doesn't see the bust coming.
Why not make it best of 3, best of one seems so volatile. Guessing it’s due to budget but cmon, all the infrastructure is there and everything in place, having them play an extra game or two can’t cost THAT much more. Or is there another reason??

zerg can switch unit types way too quickly in ZvP.. if you're one step behind and zerg plays well it's going to snowball and you're screwed.
