8ply cotton yarns and 2.5mm crochet hook.
Abbreviations (US Crochet Terms):
ch - chain
dc - double crochet
hdc - half double crochet
hdc2tog - half double crochet 2 together
R - Round
Rep - Repeat
sc - single crochet
sl st - slip stitch
st - stitch
sts - stitches
YO - YARN OVER
