Thanks. I was getting "no SD card" on my jumper t-lite v2 elrs and I'm following along with your video after changing the SD card, but when I do "read models and settings from radio" in open-tx companion it says it can't find the radio. Is my t-lite broken? Is there anything else I can try?
can i just download and install fw on the interanl protocol module and leave everything else alone if i'm happy with it as is? I just need an ipm update so my t lite can control the gyro on a xk290 brick, but so many steps -- looks like just updating the ipm part would be easy enough?

you can get an external ELRS transmitter module from several different companies and attach it using the external module hardware that came with your T-Lite. We have Jumper's version: www.ironquad.com/product-page/jumper-elrs-aion-tx-2-4ghz

the external RF is when you add a transmitting module. unless you have separately purchased and added a similar 4in1 or CC2500 external module or a specific tx (expressLRS or CRSF) you would want to use internal.

I didn't get the nice little icon with the mm-stm-serial.bin??? It was hard to tell if you wrote to sd and swapped or if you wrote to sd over usb. I wrote to sd and swapped, always faster.
Great video. But I am having an issue connecting my T-lite to a FrSky R-XSR receiver! Its driving me nuts. Do you have any ideas on what to do? Would this help?
Depending on how you are connecting the RX, make sure it is on the correct mode. (SBUS or PPM) If you press and hold the "bind" button, it switches colors from blue and green? I forget the colors but you can find more details in the RX's manual.
Man you have to make the video clear steps by step i really never understand do i put the jumper t lite folder to the usb or i just copy all the files for sd card and put them to usb 🤷♂️

@@sburnham3 Function wise, it doesn't look like a big difference. The only difference is the zorro offers internal ELRS but you won't get the benefits of 4in1. You can also add the ELRS and CRSF to the T-Lite and basically comes down to the looks.
A few days ago I bought a "Nazgul5 V2" with a Frsky R-XRS receiver, and I have a Jumper t-Lite as a transmitter. I have done all the steps that appear in the video, I update the transmitter but I cannot find the correct model: Frsky X. I go to SETUP/Type but Frsky X is not here and I can't select it. Hi, something got wrong. I have copied on the SDCard the firmware provided by the website of Jumper. I run the Bootloader 2.3.13 to wrote the Firmware. And I get now a black screen and a message like 'setup warning' (not quiet sure). I tried your tuto to get it fixed but still the same problem. Any Idea?

When pressing button 'on' alone, the screen shows the logo OpentX without backlight, then I hear the warning 'setup warning' (not quiet sure), then the screen turn to be black and the led is red. Why would you need to say "I'm sure I'm using a data cable"??? The Jumper T-lite v2 COMES with the correct USB cord. Surely anyone with any sense would use THAT cord?
If you want to unlock a lot of features, I highly recommend getting an SD card. Memory wise, 32gig and below. Also, get a higher quality SD card like sandisk.

@@IRONQUAD The newest versions of the T-lite shipping now have replaced the SD card with an internal flash memory as stated. It should show up (and be used) the same as the old SD card does. Apparently it's supposed to be more reliable than the dodgy cards supplied. (And no doubt cheaper to make than a card and card reader.) 😉
Now i put the last file I forgot to put it and its show in t lite the int mod file but when I wanna try to flash it its says need file stm-opentx-noinv) can you help please

This is NOT the T-Pro but T-Lite. Not sure if Open-TX has updated yet but you will need to either email JumperRC or hopefully they have the T-Pro FW on their website

yes, you should be fine. However, the radio will let you know if you need to update the IPM on the bind screen as it will flash a message to do so.

You may not need to update the xm+ FW because you will still have the "x" protocol option.

does this work with the 900 MHZ version? when you get to the multi protocal at 5:16 it shows the 2.4 Ghz module.
I believe you may have the T-Pro as the T-Lite does not have an internal 900mHz version, or I don't think there is.

Both works, but for 180k file, you can just transfer via usb

The files go into the USB drive. The reason for making Jumper T-Lite folder is to extract the files from the zipped folder.
So wedont have to use the card we can do it 9n an empty we dows folder?

You will need to either update the radio transmitter's FW or find the protocol "FRSKY" and change the subtype to "D16"

You need to access the radio system menu (SYS key) and NOT the models menu (MDL).

Mine domt have an SD card slot.
You don't need an SD card on the very latest versions of the T-lite! They have an in-built flash memory unit.
