Back in the day, I had a 1989 Bronco II and the AC compressor was on the top. It was so easy to remove. With today's cars, the compressor is so difficult to get to.

97 Chevy s10 4cylinder ac compressor is on top too. Also all Subaru 4 cylinder on top as well.

Good video. When you said 14:58 1.2 pounds maximum, that means you need to put 19.2 ounces, each can is 12 ounces right? So if you buy two cans of freon that is enough right? So one full can plus 7.2 ounces of the second car right? Also, you put three ounces of oil since you replaced the compressor. I am replacing the condenser, I think you need only one ounce of oil right?

Read your ac label im might be wrong but according to my car ac label it said maximum 1.2 lbs so I think I put 24 oz only and it cold enough.

@@alltsab I asked you since I was in a head on collision and many of the parts were damaged including the AC label. Thursday I will replace the condenser myself. I don't want to over-charge it. Using your video, I was guessing based on your repair. We got the same car, same engine etc.

I don't think it matter because you need to spin the compressor clutch until it going through the whole compressor.
